SR Leonard's hook to the point of Davey Boy Green's chin.

RJJ's body shot that broke a couple of Virgil Hill's ribs.

So, so many greatest punches thrown ,but I'll throw in four-
The final one, two that Dempsey kod Luis angel Firpo in the second round. So darn
fast it can hardly be seen in slow motion...
And the devastating final left-hook that rendered Mike Quarry unconscious thrown
    by Bob Foster. Wow!
The beautifully timed left hook-uppercut that Jersey joe Walcott flattened Ezzard Charles
    in 1951...
The immensely powerful right cross that a prime Joe Louis timed the rock hard
Paolino Uzcudun's jaw knocking out Uzcudun's front teeth and mouthpiece in the
    process...

Andy Lee, for a guy that's not really a one punch knockout artist, is one of the best fairly young guys in the game who fits the criteria here.

His last fight against John Jackson was a beautiful one punch knockout against a guy coming in like a raging bull.

I always loved this one. This is Joe landing a beauty of a left hook on Jimmy Ellis at 4:03 of this vid. Funny enough, despite its beauty, one can see it did not have full impact on it. It tends to almost graze a well-beaten Ellis who had just lifted himself from a previous knockdown. But one can see the effects as they follow Ellis to his corner and he is so out of it he clothes-lines himself as he staggers to his corner. Amazing.

I totally agree, and maybe my favorite all time punch at that. Another though is the right uppercut Jose Napoles unleashed to ko Earnie Red Lopez.

Hi Burt. Joe said once that the right hand he ko'd Paolino with was the hardest shot he ever threw.

The right hand that Holyfield used to counter Douglas' uppercut was so smooth. That was probably the sharpest and quickest Real Deal was in a fight.

You beat me to it timmers612,....that was the hidden peach of a punch in boxing lore IMO,...a short, fast, perfectly and economically delivered masterpiece of a right upppercut that exploded Lopez's eye socket and put him out of business for the 10 count.

It's a pity that this fight doesn't exist on film.

Some great replies, the nunn - kalambay shot was picture perfect and the foster left hook was a peach, foster barely moved as he threw it.
I also love mike tysons ko of botha, all that weight and power into such a short, perfect shot, definitely one of the best right hands ive seen.
And joe Louis just punched so beautifully all the time, fast, short, deadly, perfect rotation and balance.

Hearns' last right hand on Duran. Perfect shot.

Some more that deserve mention I feel are Sergio Martinez KO over the usually durable Paul Williams. It was surprising as it was devastating, since Martinez was not noted for power. But what a shot...
Hasim Rahman's near-perfect right hand against Lewis deserves mention too...could he have landed that punch any better?
Another Hearns KO...his right hand missile against the promising James Schuler.
Louis' lovely right hand against Johnny Paychek.
Arguello's right hand on Pryor in the 13th round of their first fight. It was the same sort of shot that sent Kevin Rooney to sleep instantly. How on earth Pryor managed to withstand it is beyond me.

I like my left hooks, Arguello ko'd Escalara with a beauty, SRR of course, Foster against Tiger, liked Ali's hook against Bonavena too. Julian Jackson had some 1-punch beauties also.
