As far as performance goes, Mundine would have to be the most inconsistent fighters that I can remember.

vs Siaca: Ran for twelve rounds
vs Kessler: Probably could of pushed for the win more if he dared but in all gave a good show
vs Green: Awesome
vs Geale 1: Did what was needed
vs Geale 2: Ran for twelve rounds
vs Clottey: Copped an absolute hiding but atleast he dug deep and tried to get himself back into the fight

I feel he's been poorly managed throughout his career. If he had the right handlers from the beginning I believe he would have been inarguably one of our best ever fighters that we've produced

On paper it looks good, almost to good. But then a closer inspection shows that Sergey Rabchenko has a padded record, fighting pretty much nothing but tomato cans his entire career.

 

My further thoughts are that Anthony's been past he's best for a long time. After he got KO'd by Woods, I thought "Fair enough. Anyone can get caught". But I felt as though in the rematch he would have to prove the first fight was a fluke and completely dominate Woods for twelve rounds because let's face it, as much as I respect Woods he's no way near Mayweather on the P4P list.

But even in the rematch he struggled. He eventually scored the knock-down's that gave him a nice buffer on the scored cards but the fight, particularly in the early rounds, was no walk in the park for him. At his best he could've handled Woods via a shut-out decision

 

He had a few unlucky injuries that he never really looked good after e.g. hip and eye. Without those things may have been different.

 

Bad move if he stays at 154, he looks sickly at that weight, if he is to continue his career I would like to see him move all the way back to supermiddle.
