Furey mate, I really do enjoy reading your posts!! They are almost always insightful and chock full of commonsense...

But, on this occasion (with respect) I do feel that you are some way off.

Tyson Fury was sighted (complete with Bentley) at a Travellers Christian gathering on the same day that the Ustinov fight was supposed to take place!! Tyson was on excellent form and acting as though he did not have a care in the world!! This would suggest that far from being too distraught to fight, he was in fact on very good terms with himself!!

Alexander Krussyak (of K2, and Ustinov's promoter) speaks candidly to his own opinion regarding Fury's almost unprecedented pull-out (Google Krussyak interview). Krussyak also mentions in the interview that Ustinov himself prophesied (immediately following the weigh in) that a clearly lacking in confidence Fury may create an issue (and he was right)!!

Fury's initial reason for pulling out was that his Uncle had become seriously ill...but his Uncle was already in hospital! Unless Fury is Gregory House, what the hell could he do?? Tyson most certainly was not constantly by Uncle Hughie's bedside..I can assure you of that!!

There was initially no mention of his Wife's tragic miscarriage (which would have been a far more understandable reason for pulling out of a fight). It all seems like there was an "evolution" to the tale of woe!

So, who are we to believe? The fighter and promoter who actually turned up to fight..or the people who chose not to fight and who's reason/excuse for not fighting "evolved" over a period of a couple of weeks??

Does Tyson's "new and improved" reason for pulling out of the Ustinov fight mean that he was willing to fight Ustinov regardless of his Wife suffering such a traumatic event, but was unwilling to fight because an Uncle was ill (or vice versa)? Because to suggest that both occurred AFTER the weigh-in and now infamous press conference (where Fury embarrassed himself by whining that he had been "Stitched up" simply because the replacement had the temerity to be in good shape and unfazed by Tyson's abject attempt at intimidation) is nonsense.

I mean, this is a "Proud fighting man, who would fight blind, both arms and legs broken" (blah, blah blah) we are talking about! Tyson Fury's entire persona and reputation is/was based on his (now proven to be completely false) claim that he will fight any man, anywhere, etc.

Tyson Fury bottled it!! For whatever reason, his arse left him. Most fans think this and (more importantly) so do the guys at K2!!

And now Mr Motormouth himself (who craves the spotlight and usually cannot be kept quiet for longer than two minutes) finally breaks his uncharacteristically long silence with some random Twitter post???

Good luck getting a fight with Wlad now, Mr Tyson Fury..

    You SHITHOUSE!!

If they only subscribed as they believed that they were going to be able to watch Fury-vs-Chisora or Fury-vs-Ustinov, then yes those people were stitched up.

Me? I have been a BN subscriber since it began..and I consider it excellent value for money.

I'd tend to disagree with that, can't remember the last live fight I watched for my money, not helped by Fury's Ustinov chicken out.

You've probably been too pissed to watch (or remember) any fight live!!

This coming month, Box Nation are showing (live and repeats).

    Frampton-vs-Martinez 2

LSC (A potential future opponent for Frampton, if he beats Kiko again) is also in action.

Mayweather-vs-Maidana 2 (and includes the full card). The poor Yanks (not that I have any sympathy for the gullible fools) are going to have to pay a fair few quid more than a months BN subscription just to watch that bout alone!

There will of course be many other cards featuring a good number of intriguing fighters and bouts. And some classic bouts.

I agree that fury's pull-out stitched up anyone who subscribed to BN as a direct result of wanting to watch the big shithouse, but £12 a month?? Howair man OTM mate, a kna ye Jocks are notoriously circumspect when it comes to dipping into ya sporran, but it woorks oot less than two deep fried Mars Bars and a can o Irn Bru a week!! Think of the good that does your internal organs if nothing else.

fury and his fans are utter hypocrites, demanding we accept his pulling out in spite of the vitriol they've spilt when rôles are reversed. tyson is getting no more than a taste of his own medicine and they really don't like it.

    Fair points :good

All I know is that his uncle fell into a coma & his wife had a miscarriage, all in a close period of time combined with the late change of opponent.. so you could perhaps excuse him for his head not being on the job.

That said, when he goes round kicking off about other fighters pulling out the way he's done in the past then does it himself, he is going to get stick!

The November date with him and Chisora best go ahead, Fury's been to inactive lately & needs to be fighting regularly.

Did that behind close doors fight with Takam go ahead back in April/May?? Can't remember if it did or not.
