Legal issues or not, Golovkin said two or three days before facing Geale that he has no plans to fight Ward and would rather stay at 160 and clean up the division. Ward is talking crap because Golovkin's team are doing the same, it's only fair for him to respond, right?. First they said they're willing to move up for this fight, then they switched to preferring 160 and now they're attacking Ward's legal issues.

I'm personally glad this fight won't happen because I'd rather see Golovkin stay at Middleweight till his body can't make the weight anymore. Ward doesn't even provide a mega fight to be worth moving up for.

GGG will eventually have to prove it. But, coming close to Ward's backyard is a good first step to generate that buzz. That fight is at least a year or so from happening (if at all). If Ward gets out of his contract he will want a tune-up, I'm sure.

To really turn up the heat, in the meantime, GGG should move up and get one of Ward's opponents in the ring and beat them convincingly (if he can). The Bika test would suffice, for now.

ggg is 32 years old he should be taking risks and challenging himself...thats what you say about Floyd and Broner.

Why can't ggg take a few risks FOR A CHANGE?

The problem with Golovkin is that his soft opposition has left him with a TON of huge flaws and bad habits.

He does not have the skills to move up.

3G is not a young fighter....especially when you consider his over 300 amateur bouts......By the time he steps up the comp the sport will have passed him by.:deal

Few years back did GGG call out Ward but he decided to rather beome an HBO commentator or fight Rodriguez in his "comeback" fight.

This ducking from US fighters is damaging this sport ffs .. they should take Ward's boxing license if he's going on with this crap.

He's a Middleweight and should stay where his body is most comfortable. Taking risks doesn't automatically mean moving up in weight.

And the GGG-Geale fight had comparatively horrible TV ratings. Sounds like he was correct, no?

GGG never said that. Maybe try a little truth in your fabrications. Makes them more believable.

The only response Ward needs is to have Goossen make an offer or send a letter of intent to K2. It's "put up or shut up" time for Ward.

You guys who constantly use money as an indicator of talent are ridiculous. Someone needs to go tell Rigondeaux. As has been said on these boards many times: in boxing, talent doesn't indicate money and money doesn't indicate talent. Learn to think.

Please ban this guy, all he does is float around posts about GGG and kills a serious discussion with trolling.

Nobody is saying GGG doesn't have a weak resume, but everyone recognizes his potential except guys like you

    It's Modern Fonzie....

Took me a while, but I figured him out.

    Songhai= Modern Fonzie

Only other possibility is SweetScienceGuru because he's part Korean or some shiit....and the hai is indicative of the orient.
