It was one of his career defining moments. The fantastic check left hook. Floyd read Hatton like a book. He had him timed so perfectly, the punch was a simple reflex; a mere nothing.

Floyd has arguably had the highest ring IQ in the game for two decades now. His ability to read opponents and adapt is unreal.

What do you think Mayweather's career defining punch has been?

Hatton isn't too hard to read...he was never on the level of Pacquiao or Mayweather.

That fight isn't even the best example of his adaptability.

Watch the Mosley and Judah fights.

Hatton only chance was to try and rough Floyd up and beat him on the inside. Floyd and Cortez wanted nothing but for Hatton to box with Floyd , how the Phuk is Hatton going to win a boxing match with Floyd. Most boxer can win a boxing match with Hatton :patsch.

Suddenly when it's Hopkins turn Cortez approve all kind of holding and inside game .

He took away the punch Mosley used to stun him and was daring Mosley to use that punch again and Mosley wouldn't. His ability to shut down an opponents offense is amazing.

Im not sure whether this post is supposed to be a joke or not, with the recent revelation that Floyd cannot "read" very well.

Hatton loved throwing wide open hooks and when his inside attack was getting nullified by Floyd, Hatton became even more reckless in his already defenseless attack. Pacquiao beat him the same way. They both knew Hatton was opening up with hooks, not straight punches, once they were within range. And they positioned themselves to either beat him to the punch or make him miss and drop a monster counter on him and that's what happened. Hatton was never hard to find he always came to you.
