    That wasn't the real Kirk Johnson against Vitali The in shape Kirk Johnson & knew in Texas would have given Vitali fits. Kirk was 20 pounds over weight under trained was just there for the check. He didn't try to win

    Mavrovic trained his whole life for this. I'm sure he made another fellow iron-chinned Croatian George Chuvalo proud.

    To be fair, Mavrovic was trying to be aggressive but Lewis' uppercut made the difference

    Yes, a no-name Eurobum called Mavrovich who never beat a single ranked fighter trained his whole life to fight Lennox Lewis. And Lewis - instead of disposing of this Eurobum within 3 rounds - allowed Mavrovich into the fight and took it the whole 12 rounds.

    One of Lewis' worst performances.

    I had no idea my breadful thread was such a hot discussed topic to this date.

    It still remains, Lennox Lewis could not handle Zeljko's bread & butter right hands and was dancing on baguetti legs for almost all 12 rounds against a complete Eurobum. I'm glad people finally learned the truth.

    Mavrovic was a good fighter. Iron chin, awkward tricky style and good cardio.

    Styles make fights and sometimes you meet someone you can't figure out. Lewis also sometimes had problems with eating and underestimating fighters.

    Im just stating facts

    1... A barely 80% ready Lennox nearly took Vitali's face off Imagine what a 100% lennox would do

    2... Kirk's will and enthusiasm were taken by Joe Cortez & the acting ability of John Ruiz. Kirk got shafted in that fight & just gave up trying.
    He was just there for the paycheck against Vitali

    Where is the fact that Lewis was barely 80%?

    Lewis had a cherry pick in Johnson, then believed his own hype that he could have one Klitschko for breakfast the other for dinner, got the scare of his life and retired.

    Let's face the actual facts, both fighters where training for vastly inferior opposition, if both fighters where training for each other from the start then both fighters would have come in better.

    Result? None of is truly know.
