Why do idiots always have to start these threads and sink the IQ level of the board with "Margarato is innocent" claims?? If you hate this place that bad then go somewhere else, no need to sabotage it...lol.

 

1. without the supposedly illegal wraps Margarito put Pacquiao in bed rest from a body shot.
2. if he wouldve been proven guilty he wouldve gone to jail just like Luis Resto did when he was found guilty

 

Jeezuz, and the blatant stupidity continues. Resto was caught immediately after having used illegal weapons, not before, like Margarato, else he would've been banned for life like Resto.

 

I've never liked Mosley ever since he admitted PED use (or even before then).

Did Mosley actually test positive in that fight? No.

Margarito was landing nothing in the 2nd fight. He was moving forward with more determination toward the end as he knew the end was nigh.

For the 1st Cotto fight, you're right, as there was no solid evidence.

But it's patently false to say there was no conclusive evidence in the Mosley fight. Capetillo admitted that he put an illegal insert into Margarito's knucklepad. The inspectors testified to what they found. It's been done to death. Anyone saying otherwise is either unaware or bullshitting themselves.

 

All this injustice was heaped on Tony Margarito purely because he kicked Cotto's ass when he wasn't supposed to. Oscar bragged he wanted the winner, thinking it would be Cotto? But when he saw what Margarito did to Cotto he chickened out. By beating Cotto Tony cost them big $$$$$ fights so he had to go. Like he was because no one dare face him on a level playing field
