Francisco 'panchito' Bojado, surely must take the cake in this thread.

Judah was world class? He ran into an all time great early in his career and probably never reached his potential but he was 'world class'.

    A few.

But because we're in the Brit forum, I really thought Price's punching power would make him go all the way and a be huge player in the HW division's post Klitschko era.

Excellent shout. Poor matchmaking cost him initially, then he blew the Kaylor fight. But he still always had his fans. I knew a couple of people who still felt he would give Watson a decent test...

I thought he'd reach dizzy heights as well.

Remember Roach saying he was one of the most talented fighters he'd ever seen.

Too young in the end. Campos was another who was meant to the take the Mexican mantle left vacant after Chavez had peaked. And although more sucessful than Bojado, Yori Boy still did not live up to the hype.

Around the time Bojado first started making noices, I got hyped about the 'New Duran' Muhammad Abdullaev...

If he was not 'off his nutt', I doubt he would of been half the fighter he was...

Abdullaev was a disappointment after showing good signs early.
