That's the most aggressive trash talk you're going to get out of Manny.

I like how Pac and Roach can openly talk about how bad their opponent is and it's still not considered a cherry pick. If Algieri was already a 147 lbs fighter and had a little more than 1 big win, this would be a good opponent.

    :rofl

Figures you'd say that. Nothing you say matters, you've already been proven to be part of the Pacquiao cheer squad. Some people think Provo beat Algieri. Pac has a great resume already, you don't have to defend this ****. God forbid if Floyd was fighting Algieri :patsch

Remember, we're talking about accomplishments, not styles. Stylistically and/or skill wise, Algieri is a DECENT opponent for Pac. But based off of accomplishments, fighting Maidana is better than Algieri. Fighting Guerrero is the equivalent to fighting Algieri, if not slightly better due to the weight. Fighting Ortiz is equivalent.

    Here we go.

“I underestimated Algieri when he faced Ruslan Provodnikov in June but I won’t make that mistake again. I hope he understands that this is a fight and not a marathon,” Roach said. . . ."

Chris won't get no credit. If he does outbox pacquiao he will get labeled a "runner". *******s talk about how floyd is "boring" . Now they are saying Chris is a master boxer so it will be a great fight??? Hypocrisy?

When rios fought pac, same *******s hyping the Chris fight were the same ones claiming abril did not outbox rios and rios is "dangerous" but now they want to be supportive of the sweet science? Now that pac is fighting a questionable boxer?

    Hypocrites.

Now they want to acknowledge boxing skills. But before Chris was fighting pac "sweet science" was considered "boring"

Let's compare them all you mentioned, their last 5 fights prior to Floyd and Pac.

    Victor Ortiz
Won via UD12: Andre Berto 27-0
    Draw10: Lamont Peterson 28-1
Won via KO3: Vivian Harris 29-4-1
Won via UD10: Nate Campbell 33-5-1
Won via TKO10: Hector Alatorre 16-8

    Robert Guerrero
Won via UD12: Andre Berto 28-1
Won via UD12: Selcuk Aydin 23-0
Won via UD12: Michael Katsidis 27-3
Won via UD10: Vicente Escobedo 22-2
Won via UD10: Joel Casamayor 37-4-1

    Marcos Maidana
Won via UD12: Adrien Broner 27-0
Won via TKO6: Josesito Lopez 30-5
Won via KO3: Angel Martinez 13-3-1
Won via TKO8: Jesus Soto Karass 26-7-3
Lost via UD10: Devon Alexander 22-1

    Chris Algieri
Won via SD12: Ruslan Provodnikov 23-2
Won via UD10: Emmanuel Taylor 17-1
Won via RTD7: Wilfredo Acuna 14-12 :rofl 8 round fight!
Won via UD10: Mike Arnaoutis 24-8-2
Won via UD10: Jose Alejo 10-1

    How can YOU compare?

My opinion, order from best to worst resume in last 5 fights
    1. Maidana
    2. Guerrero
    3. Algieri
    4. Ortiz

Algieri has been fighting guys with negative records, his ONLY good fight is Provodnikov. The only reason I put Algieri ahead of Ortiz is because he beat Provo, who's a dangerous fighter IMO. Ortiz has a better resume but it's ruined in this comparison because of the draw.
