I picked Salido to beat him but if you consider the fight was close to a draw and Salido was a Welterweight in there with him, hitting him in the balls the whole match, yet he still managed to almost KO Salido in the last round, he very well could end up dominating his division.

You're as bitter as anyone on esb

Old? Peeps are living longer, taking better care of themselves. In the old days even top athletes smoked and drank.

The productive element in the US has a negative birthrate. 100 Million Mericans on some kind of welfare - no wonder they don't produce many top fighters. One of the US best fighters Hopkins is pushing 50 and you talk about the age of EE fighters :nut But look on the bright side, one of the top US HWs is a glass jawed giraffe still fighting dish washers and other no hopers :yep

Also if it wasn't for massive inflow of people from the south, the US pop would be in decline. When and if the $ crashes and the welfare checks bounce, you'll see a nightmare scenario.

Most East Euros are used to tough conditions, not true for most Mericans :deal

Yeah. Not saying that was a fair fight but the way people hype Loma up makes you think hes more than he is. If he was as good as people say he is, then he would have dealt with Salido regardless of what tactics he employed. I'm not even condemning him solely on that fight. I just think other big name guys around his weight are better than he is.

Give me Rigo over Loma. I like Mikey too

He fought Salido in his 2nd pro fight dude. Ward was getting dropped by Boone and out on his feet vs Kenny Kost with more pro fights. Marquez bros, Hopkins have early losses to far lesser fighters. Maybe youre not an ALT after all, sounds more like someone that just started watching boxing

I hate to break it to you, but at this point most Americans aren't even watching boxing anymore.

Couple of decent looking prospects at LHW coming up in Vasily Lepikhin (16-0 (9 KOs) and Radivoje Kalajdzic (15-0 (10 KOs).
