I wouldn't consider the 1st fight a flop, because how many PPVs do over 800k?

I predict this one will do 700-800k.

 

it was a flop considering how duckweather was going on like his 2.2 mill buys with canelo was the norm from 2.2 mill drop to 800 000 buys shows it was a one of...............

duckweather stacked his under card never had a official los and still is making same numbers with pac who was coming of a loss (knockout) and with a crap under card and still drew 800 000 buys

bottom line 800 000 buys was a flop for duckweather just look at the under card and him being rated p4p pound.............

 

This. Makes absolutely no sense to me how they do it :huh

 

1. Mayweather has done 2.4 and 2.2, what's Pac's highest? 1.4? Mayweather did 2.4 and then dropped to 700k-900k against Hatton. Doesn't make it a flop. Look at Canelo's PPVs now, both did around 300k.

2. Stacked? No, expensive maybe but not stacked. Broner and Khan, while big names, haven't done **** lately. Broner was coming off of a loss and Khan has been irrelevant lately. Plus, look at who they were fighting. Broner and Khan were fighting tune ups, that's not stacked. Everyone expected Mayweather to breeze through Maidana, that's not stacked. So with **** match ups and everyone knowing who the winners will be, it still did 800k+.

3. Pacquiao vs Bradley is a great match up compared to Mayweather vs Maidana, and the rematch did less than the 1st fight. Meaning people careless about both fighters. And no, Pacquiao coming off of a loss was against Rios, and that did 400k. Two top 10 P4P guys still couldn't top Floyd's #'s.

4. Since when do Pacquiao fans give a **** about numbers?

 

Maidana has more of a fan base then Bradley the coward DID stack his under card khan could headline a card on his own................they pulled all the stops and still failed

 

Put it this way, if Floyd fought Bradley, it'd do around 900k-1m :deal

If Floyd fought Pacquiao, it'd do around 2m.

Pacquiao isn't getting those kind of numbers. Pac-Algieri will be lucky to do around 300k. And that undercard is STACKED :rofl so we'll see.

actually if duckweather and pac fought it would at the very least do 2.5 mill buys now back in 2009 it was a sure 3 mill
