"I'm going to be on him from the opening bell," Maidana said. "I'm going to try and force him to fight.

"I'm preparing for anything. If he's going to run like a little ***** I'm going to have to chase him and I'm prepared to do that.

"It's difficult to knock out Floyd because he runs but I will try my best and we will see what happens. I want him to stand and fight like a man. Stop crying like a little ***** and fight."

    :hey:deal

Maidana's never intimidated by anyone, the man has massive balls. Props to him. However, the "stand and fight like a man" thing has been said by many of Mayweather's opponents already. At the end of the day, he's gonna box and win like a winner. He wouldn't still be P4P #1 if all it took was some petty macho **** to take him out of his gameplan.

Exactly. Maidana sounds like Guerrero. Watch Floyd move and own this borderline C level fighter this time and get called a runner.

    Guerrero would whoop Maidana's a$$

A fighter who tells another fighter to fight like a man is basically admitting that they are less talented

No it doesn't. Someone who runs would say that to a fighter who doesn't run. (that he's less talented)

When Joe Louis said "he can run but he can't hide" do you think he was admitting that he was less talented than his opponent?

He said Floyd runs. He also said 'I want him to stand and fight like a man'.

"hiding" is NOT standing and fighting like a man. It's the same theme of what Joe Louis said. He's not admitting that he's less talented than Floyd. He's calling Floyd out for running instead of fighting.

I don't think Floyd did too much running in the first fight either, but it's pretty funny to read that. Maidana is ready to go to war with Floyd, and knows that Floyd might run more in the rematch than he did in first fight (think SRL vs Duran I & II) since Maidana busted Floyd up in the first fight.

Maidana has to prepare for Floyd to run all night, even if he doesn't on the nite. You know Maidana is working on cutting off the ring in the gym in preparation for Floyd trying to show how much more talented he is by not engaging like he did the first time.

Funny, but good on Chinos part, testing Floyds manhood in public. Problem is, we all know Bayless is Floyds personal ref and will NEVER allow anything bad to happen to Floyd. Bayless will be breaking them up before Chino gets within an arms reach of floyd. I see a DQ coming as Maidana gets very frustrated at the ref.

When was the last time Bayless helped Mayweather in a match?
