Looks like he still didn't recover from the hug bonanza he experienced.

The first knockdown was legit, the rest were as comical as the entire despicable fight.

And Povetkin is an idiot who had no answers and couldn't adjust, no matter what the ref did or didn't do Povetkin would have lost the match.

The ref didn't threaten him with it, so no he shouldn't have. Why stop doing something if the ref doesn't force you to stop, Hopkins gets away with **** like that all the time.

How the hell do you adjust when your opponent is literally hugging the crap out of you the entire damn night?. Povetkin is known for his inside fighting yet he was grabbed on as soon as Wladimir got there. The amount of hugging Wladimir applied that night was more than enough to get him DQ'd yet he only lost one point and in the 11th. The refereeing that night was horrible.

for the record they should all be dq'd.no one holds like wlad does though its punch clinch rinse and repeat.

But I'm sure if Ward did that you'd call him a masterful boxer. Why do you all keep beating Povetkin's drum he's not great or incredibly skilled, fine Wlad held too much, had he not held so much he would have probably gotten a stoppage on Povetkin. He cannot beat Wlad, no matter what he did.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never called any fighter that excessively grabs a "masterful boxer". Ward sure as hell doesn't hold half as many times as Wladimir clearly does either. I don't care what you think of Povetkin's general ability, he was excessively held that fight and I'm not the only one that saw and complained about it. Just incase you don't know, I'm a Klitschko fan and they were the reason I registered on here.
