No, it's called the HoF for a reason not the Hall of resumes, it's not just about what you do in boxing it's also what you do for boxing (hence why Stallone and various promoters get in).

If it was the Hall of Resumes you could have an argument that Froch doesn't belong in- but it's not and you don't.

Since Maravilla is shot, that means Froch is now my favorite, he should be inducted the moment he retires.

and that's why the boxing of fame is a joke.it's one thing to be exciting which froch is but he is not great he was never the best in his weight class nor does he seem interested in getting another shot at ward who dominated him.

No Ward hugged, held, and smothered his way to an ugly victory, just like he does all the time, Ward is a very talented boxer who I like watching more than most people on this site, but he perfected a very unpleasant style, that is virtually impossible to look good against, but he doesn't dominate anyone he is a spoiler on the highest level nothing more, a more perfected version of Carlos Molina.

Actually, Froch tried to get Ward in the ring several times after the Bute fight but Ward priced himself out to the point of being totally unfeasible saying the fight has to take place in the US in Ward's home state and Ward gets far more money even though nobody wants to see Ward fight.

Probably a lot of the reason for Ward falling out with Goosen is that Ward really thinks he's entitled to that kind of super star treatment when he can't sell out his own living room.

This isn't true at all. Most fans appreciate what Gatti brought to the sport and feel that he more than merits a place in the Hall of Fame.

Anyway, Froch walks into it. Even on a resume basis, it just gets deeper and deeper.

:good The voters take into account, a fighters record in significant fights and historical significance on the sport. Gatti can more or less walk in on historical significance alone and Froch with a combination of the two easily.

nonsense, froch was open to the rematch before ward sabotaged his own career. i'm so tired of reading this **** from ward fans that i might start claiming ward was scared of bute and even more so the rejuvenated froch who destroyed bute, precipitating ward's inactivity. it blatantly isn't the case, but that doesn't stop ward's fans chatting out their arses.

Well there's a decent amount of fighters throughout the different boxing eras that have no business being in the IBHOF. Froch is a good fighter, not great but not bad either. He has a granite chin and good power. His defense is average, his handspeed is below average and his biggest wins are against Bute, a past his prime Kessler and Georges Groves.

I watched the entire Super 6 and no one is going to tell me he beat Dirrell, because he clearly didn't. That was a robbery in every sense of the word, a fight I scored around 8-4 for Andre. And if it wasn't for his 12th round heroics, he would've lost a lopsided decision to another well past his prime fighter, Jermain Taylor.

Froch is a pretty good fighter, but he's not a HOF worthy fighter in my eyes. There's been many fighters better than him in the SMW division, a division that's well know for being historically one of the weakest divisions ever. But these days they allow mediocre fighters in the Hall, so I have no problem with Froch being in there because he's definitely an above average fighter. Rudimentary skills but he has a champions chin, heart and power.
