it was interesting to me to see how eddie would be about frampton after they parted company...my opinion of him has lessened a little from various comments he has made regarding frampton.

he said, in a very confident way, that no way would frampton get a kiko rematch and that quigg would get santa cruz for sure and suggested frampton was badly managed...but now look....frampton has a huge cult following....he dismisses that there comparing haye to frampton...frampton is a steady work in progress to world belt holder, and a huge money earner. all i hear from hearn is sour grapes.

there is no conflict of interest between manager/promoter where mcguigan / frampton is concerned....anyone who's looked closely at them over a long period of time can see that...frampton virtually is a mc guigan....he's part of the family there.

In a tiny country that has no ability to make him a huge earner on the world stage. :huh

Ah ok, all hearns hinted at that there was a conflict of interests in mcguigans management

Well the facts show frampton is fighting for a world title in his home town in font of a massive crowd against a guy his already knocked out

Don't see any conflict of interests there just frampton and mcguigan both coming out of it a lot better off

Facts also showed he couldn't get the LSC fight.

Apparently the big support Frampton had meant you lot believed it would come off?

They turned down Quigg for whatever reason too.

You know as well as I do that Kiko was a last resort.

    it shows potential for such.

ireland may be a tiny country but in the boxing world its not that tiny.

Frampton was lsc mandatory, however lsc was opting for a voluntary and was probebly going to wait for purse bids against frampton so frampton would have been out of action for a year before that fight

The quigg offers weren't serious for many reason eg TV networks , the fight not being in Belfast so no one in there right mind took them offers seriously

What was left was the kiko fight which they got, Hearn said he wouldn't get it and he would get lsc which wasn't true

Now frampton will have a belt when he enters negotiations with lsc after the fight and will have more bargaining power, better than waiting around for a year for purse bids while lsc fights bums

Serious question, what bargaining power does a belt give Frampton? Not one fan of Carl has been able to answer that when I've asked it.

Does a belt bring LSC to Belfast? Nope? Does it change Eddie's 50/50 call? Nope.

What does it actually do for Carl?

it might bring LSC to Belfast...and if not it'll get carl a better payday away.....and quigg shouldnt get 50/50 if carl has an ibf belt against a wba 'other belt' holder when wba have the real daddy and its not quigg.

Two WBA belts is a joke and as such lessens any bargaining power

In fairness considering frampton is a big draw and will have a real belt and quigg isn't a draw and has a Mickey Mouse belt then I'd say the split should be 75-25 or 70-30
