It's not fair to compare Tyson to Pacquaio. Tyson is an orthadox fighter that fought against orthadox fighters.

Pacquaio is a southpaw. The angle of approach is different. There is more risk involved.

Honestly, despite having a very limited professional career, one of the best aggressive defensive southpaw's is Lomachenko, but due to the angle, there is more risk involved in coming foward against opposing style stances, especially when your opponent is taller and rangier.

 

Pacquiao is overrated at the ATG level. Against top tier boxers like Morales and Marquez he looks ordinary. I can't include Floyd because this atg doesn't want to fight Pacquiao. I couldn't agree more with this statement unless a guy has RJJ or Pea Whitaker type of footwork and footspeed this is 100% true.
