    There are some coaches that advocate exactly that.

    Also the medicine ball (or double-end/accuracy bag) on the nose to "harden the cartilage" and prevent bleeds...

    It may in fact toughen up a fighter in a placebo effect type of way.

    A better way toughen up a fighter is to make him wear a butt plug especially whilst riding on the bicycle.

    I bought a 10KG med ball and if you lie on the floor throw it up and let it land on your abs you train your power and toughen your abs and get used to getting hit, as long as it doesn't land on your bollocks.

    Correct, thats what Prince Maz did vs Ali raymi in the second fight, and managed to last till round 7.
