Ok again Froch had No PrOBLEM WITH PASCALS HAND SPEED and Hopkins is so much slower you completely ignored this! And as for none of Frochs opponents are on the same level as Hopkins Ummm Froch could beat everyone at LHW that Hopkins fought! Hopkins avoided the talent rich SMW division to move up to LHW for a reason. I am a Wards fan and yes Froch lost to Ward but BHOP is no Ward. He doesn't have any stamina and sometimes rely on 5 punches a round to win a round.

You sound like Froch fans pre super six finals against Ward. I remember them talking about how Froch was going to rough of Ward. They really believed Froch will have a better chance of connect against Ward on the inside. Well, we know who roughed up who, and it wasn't Ward who got roughed up.
However I remember Froch locking at Steve Smoger to break up the fight when Ward was manhandling him against the ropes. If you think what Ward did to Froch was bad, then you don't really know Hopkins.
If Froch tries to take the fight to the trenches, he will regret doing because thats exactly what Hop prefers most of his fight.

None of those Froch opponents are on the same level as Hop.[/QUOTE]

Your trying to make Hopkins out to be something he isn't he has made his career off of beating smaller fighters and bringing them up in weight. When Froch fought Bute he didn't stop punching for 5 rounds Hopkins wouldn't be able to deal with that. Your taking a fighter who throws 5 punches a round and putting him against a guy who fights top comp after top comp at his same weight. Froch can fight for every minute of every round Hopkins can't.

Froch had no problem with Pascals hand speed but Hopkins hand speed is going to bother him GTFO.

What he said regarding would happen to Kessler against Hopkins if he tried to make it rough, implying that Kessler was the one who tried to make it rough against Ward. He must've had a lot more than a few sherbets. lol

Fans of losers like to make weight excuses. Hopkins skipped two weight classes to school Antonio Tarver at 175. Like Pavlik, Hop was also a former middleweight. Not only that, Pavlik had about 17 years age advantage over Hop.:hi:

You have to look at common opponents that how fighters are judged when they haven't fought each other. Froch knocked out Taylor and beat Pascal convincingly. Attaboy will say old man Hopkins is too quick for Froch and had problems with Pascal because of his speed. Froch HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH PASCALS SPEED but will have a problem with a much slower Hopkins yea ok.

But you will say Tarver was a nobody who beat an old shot Weight drained Jones? Pavlik never fought at that weight he was the much smaller fighter on the night of the fight. Froch would of destroyed Pavlik.

Have you ever heard the phrase "style make fight". Not only that, Hop is a level above Pascal. Because Zab Judah is faster than Floyd does not mean, he's better than Floyd. Hop is no St George ........ Froch hands are to slow to be able to connect on Hop.

It's not an excuse. Pavlik was a drunk and he did jump up two divisions to fight Hopkins. Aren't you going to say he's my hero now? lol

Pavlik was getting arrested and thrown out of bars for being drunk and disorderly and bashing up law men as far back as 2005.

Hopkins is a much better fighter than Pavlik, with more tools at his disposal in his armoury, hence why he was able to have more success at the higher weight. Pavlik's primary assets at 160 were his size advantage and power both of which all but evaporated when he moved up against the heavier Hopkins and the rest.

Hopkins age? He's still a world champion six years later. lol

What is it with you Europeans and weight excuses. You guys also bring this **** up when someone brings up a potential fight between Golovkin and Ward.
There is nothing uncommon about fighters skipping a weight class to fight other great fighters above them. Fighters like Floyd, Pac, Marquez, and Bradley have done it so many times. Sergio Martinez did it when everyone was docking him at 154. He moved up to 160 and beat the **** out Pavlik was bigger and younger than him. Recently, Adonise stevenson KO'ed Chad Dawson in his first fight at 175. He's been fighting at that weight class ever since.

You aren't getting what I am saying. Pascal is faster than Hopkins and Froch was still able to time him and beat him. Yes styles make fights and speed doesn't mean **** if you can time your opponent which Froch can really well that's why he beat Pascal who is light years faster than Hopkins. If you want an example JMM is slower than PAC but he times him perfectly. Froch can have a high workrate when that is his strategy. Yes styles make fights and Hopkins style is SLOW he relies on roughing an opponent up on the inside he is not a speed demon and doesn't have the speed to bother Froch. Froch is just too strong and cagey to let BHOP rough him up and Froch doesn't have one hand knockout power but all of his punches hurt and he does go to the body if that is what it takes see the Magee fight. Froch can even box if he wants see the Johnson fight or the Abraham fight he is a very underrated fighter who isn't one dimensional. He lost to Ward who is P4P 2 there ain't no shame there.

Ok let me get this. You believe Pavlik would have beaten Hopkins if the fight was held at 160 and Pavlik wasn't a drunk?

You say Pavlik had drinking problem back as 2005 which is way before his fight against Hopkins, but his drinking problem:hi: never affected until he ran into Hopkins.
