    I am an AMERICAN and realize there is so much bias over here it is ridiculous! Americans praising Ward but calling his best win Froch a bum. If Froch is so bad Ward is just another American HYPEJOB who doesn't belong in the P4P rankings.

    A drunk or not, he was still a heavy favorite going in to this fight and extremely few(myself included) gave Hopkins a chance and picked him to win. Those that picked Hopkins to win were laughed at by the majority despite logical analysis of both their styles that came true and were called blatant haters for the effort. Only fools will forget this now that the fight is done with and the result available for every idiot's viewing pleasure.

    Whether the fight was at 160 or 266 and whether Pavlik was as sober as your mother, based on styles Hopkins destroys and outclasses Pavlik.

    I brought up Tarver to show the hypocrisy over here on certain fighters. Jones cut down in weight to fight Tarver and Tarver beat him. To protect Jones fans will say Tarver is a **** opponent who got lucky because Jones cut down in weight. But when BHOP fights Tarver he is the best win ever even though those same fighters called him a bum in reference to Jones. Those same fighters will say BHOP is the best ever he beat Winky Wright , Tarver , and Pavlik but discount Calzaghes win over BHOP as being too old. Get your F*CKIN story straight!

    You see thats where you're wrong. I highly respect Froch and have never considered him a bum.

    All I said was due to his style of fighting, Hop will beat him. Because I believe Hop will beat him does not mean I consider him a bum.:patsch

    Again, it's not an excuse. Hopkins would've beaten him at 160 because he was just better. Pavlik still moved up two divisions for the fight though and he was a drunk before he fought Hopkins and his main assets at 160 were his size and power.

    Hopkins was rather partial to pulling opponents up in weight to fight him at divisions they'd either never fought in before, looked like crap when they did, or were 1,2, 3 etc above the ones where they were at their best. It was a conscious ploy by him, because he felt it would give him an advantage.

    I was merely stating most of the Americans feeling when it comes to Ward and bias towards Froch. I do think you underrate Froch greatly and especially his wins. BHOP is a great fighter but I think Froch is all wrong for him.

    No you dumb f-ck. It's just a fact that Pavlik had problems with the bottle long before he fought Hopkins and it got progressively worse. You just want to give Hopkins all the credit for ruining Pavlik when his long-term boozing was just as much a factor in his decline as anything else. Comprende?

    I am talking about most of hypocrisy of American fans I have see on this board. As for you Frochs resume at SMW is better than Hopkins at LHW.

    Like Pavlik, Hopkins also was fighting above a weight class where he enjoyed weight advantage and was more successful.:patsch

    Yes I agree. Hopkins is just better. And how can my mum be sober if she's British? lol

    I picked Hopkins by the way. Most on here favoured Pavlik so heavily because of Hopkins' age and because he just had to be shot because he got beat by Calzaghe. lol

    Dude you're beyond ******ed. Why won't I give Hop credit. He was fighting above a weight class weight class where he had a lot of success against a young a fighter who was knocking everybody out.

    Pavlik was a much weight disadvantaged as Hopkins was.

    His drinking problem never affected his ability to fight until he ran into Hopkins.

    Why you so burthurt though?

    Ummm right here ! You said none of Frochs opponents are on Hopkins level when Frochs opponents are better than the level Hopkins has been fighting at that doesn't make any sense.
