As opposed to a 'world champion' who is always on the undercard?

I'd say Conor McGregor made a few quid their in Dublin recently, i'd say Carl Frampton earns a lot more then Quigg, do you honestly think if Carl Frampton becomes a superstar he won't earn money, if he was to fight at the Aviva Stadium or Croke Park he'd make a ton of cash idiot. We know he'll never make millions but he will be the highest paid SBW in the world within a year.

I don't really get what Eddie was implying in all of that. Maybe I'm being dense and not getting it.

Essentially he's saying a promoters job is to give the boxer the lowest purse as possible (within reason) to maximise their profit, whilst a manager tries to get the highest purse for their boxer. Surely he doesn't expect McGuigan to be pulling the wool over Carl's eyes and pocketing a nice wedge without Carl noticing? As long as Carl is happy with his purse what does it matter to Eddie?

Framptons potential earning power with the Irish in the States is huge, that is where there is money to be made.

The much more important takeaway from that Hearn interview is the fact that the top rated Boxnation show in the week 11th-17th August drew only 3k viewers and that the Best of Bunce was beaten in the ratings by an Insanity commercial.

As for Frampton he will come under pressure to sort this situation out as soon as he becomes World Champion (very likely in my opinion). Will Frampton stay with Barry or will he move to the States?

I haven't watched the video yet but quite simply McGuigan has made Eddie look a complete twat with the way he has delivered since taking the decision to leave
Matchroom & sky...Eddie knows it and it must be sticking in his throat like a fooking knife

Hearn ****ed up with Frampton in my opinion.

He's a top fighter, bags of talent, his following + profile is increasing all the time and he puts in solid performances each time out.

I think Matchroom thought that when Frampton left, it would all go to **** for him + Mcguigan and they'd come back with there tail between there legs... the complete opposite has happened.

Frampton and his team are doing very well for themselves, fair play.
