If you guys don't mind, I would like to temporarily break up this circle jerk of attaboi and harolgee and ask you two a question. Do you even follow and understand boxing?

The more I read from you two, the more I come to a conclusion that you are boxing groupies, in here to promote an agenda rather than out of love for the sport, as evident by your inability to comprehend simple facts about the sweet science.

Case and point: Corrie Sanders, one of my fav boxers, a man whose career I am very well familiar with, the very fact of which harolgee thinks is rooted in racism as he is "white". Leaving that nonsense behind, only an utter moron would deny his superior execution of a straight counter left. As anyone familiar with boxing would know, that particular punch is perfect against tall right handers with a little too much confidence (Perfect execution of a straight right requires you to bring your left hand up as you throw the right, keeping your back straight and NEVER leaning forward with the punch). Both Kbros perfectly fit the bill of tall right handers with too much confidence, and Wlad's execution of a right cross was abysmal due to the fact that he never until that point got punished for improper technique. Sanders literally taught him a boxing lesson, something Wlad hasn't forgotten since.

Where am I going with this? Sanders may not have been the most effective man against all kinds of opponents, but he was very well equipped to fight the Kbros. His atrocious stamina issues aside, he had a hell of a punch, he was very quick and very accurate. He could be beaten by boxers with solid technique that didn't overly commit and didn't try to rush him from on the onset, but No amount of idiocy that you guys spew here will take his strong points away from him.

Don't tell me how people felt about Sanders, open your eyes (and while you're at it, join a boxing gym) and see what I am talking about when it comes to his strengths and his technique. You clearly have a lot more to learn in whatever school you're attending. My guess is you're not in sciences as your inability to comprehend written text and to stay on point would have been enough to fail most if not all of your courses by now.

This is mutually exclusive from my view that Corrie was once a budding prospect with a heavy left ad a possibly good future. But it didn't happen. He was NEVER good enough when prime.

So basically, Sanders isn't that good and doesn't have that monster power vs normal people, but against the brothers he does? Is this why his KO rate is relatively low considering his weak opposition?

 

I am not saying the K bros are bad btw. I think Wlad is pretty good at what he does, defending, hugging and running against a range fo fighters from decent contenders tounfit little fat boys until they tire and then clubbing the defenceless souls to death.

Vitali likewise was more aggressive when young, trading in a lunkish but effective manner.

Corrie was a solid puncher, and his percentage is deceiving. Anyone that follows boxing would tell you that. Not you of course, boxrec warrior.
