the list u sent me was horrible. where's willie pep? or benny leonard? they have joe gans...... every other lists consists of the same people in the same spot with robby as number 1, hank as number 2, and ali as number 3. sam langford isn't even on certain top 10s

Leonard is 11, Pep is 14.

You obviously haven't seen that many lists if "every other lists" has Ali at #3.

if you have an inside game (like Bika), have speed on the outside (or both) and do them well, then you can beat Andre Ward.

if you look at who he's been in there with, none of them have any inside game, so he can take advantage of it with his wrestling. but when he fought Bika (and one who had been out of the ring for 18 months) he had a hard, close fight.

throw in the fact he has a very shaky chin, then it doesn't bode well for him. but Ward knows who to fight, and who to dodge. he's got the blue-prints of a coward down to a tee.

At what weight considering it's unlikely he could do middleweight and there was no super middleweight division back the day? In relatively recent history, John Conteh, Galindez, Mathew Saad Muhammad, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Mike Spinks, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Moorer, Hill, Jones, Michalewski etc, and plenty of top light heavyweight contenders. How do you think he would do against them?

At 168 pounds, very well. But in terms of being active, well...

Questions like this are best asked upon the conclusion of one's career.

Ward has been in the process of making a very grave error in regards to his career in general with this long, protracted inactivity. I was very high on him at one point...in fact, he was just about the only modern fighter that I was high on,...but his disappearing act has turned me off. If it weren't for the classic boxing scene I wouldn't be interested in boxing at all nowadays. I can still imagine that it's still the late 60's to the mid to late 70's.....the good old days.

trouble is there are no smw atgs, so you cant really match him against one, theres just jones.

you need to match him outside his weight class for this.
