Is J'Leon Love one of the biggest bums in boxing prospect history?

These men were all ranked in the top 5 of a division by every writer and fan on the planet at some point.

They exceeded the level of "boxing prospect." They were highly ranked titlists.

Those people don't get referred to as prospects or else we would refer to all fighters as prospects, being that everyone was at some point.

Nobody says "Sugar Ray Robinson is the GOAT prospect."

 

I never was that impressed with J Love's skillset. He is a TMT fighter so Mayweather has to endorse him. I like Badou Jack and Mickey Bey regardless of the their knockout losses because I think that they have real talent and will become a force in their respective divisions. There is a lot of great young talent out there and I think that TMT should start a recruiting drive for that talent instead of trying to totally build on what's in house.

 

Yea I was never impressed with dude I wouldn't say hes the biggest bum though, the Mayweather promotions overrall kinda of sucks if you think about it, if I were them I would make huge offers or pitches to Garcia (its not helping that hes getting his brother mad) & Rigodeaux

Love got all his attention mostly in America based on being close with Mayweather.

There've been bigger more highly regarded worldwide prospect failures in recent history much less overall history ie Ricardo Williams, Andrew Golota, Rocky Juarez
