In the rematch Castillo didn't fight as hungry as in the first fight maybe that had to do with him knowing he couldn't get a fair shake from the judges and couldn't stop Mayweather either, He still gave him a tough fight tho.... Hope this doesn't happen with Maidana so we can have a good fight.:bbb

Are you sure Castillio didn't win the rematch because he's not the better fighter?

He knew he wasn't going to get a fair shake..he showed up for the check and just looked for one big shot..he knew it was his only chance.

Maidana won't give a ****..with a young family he knows he needs some big paychecks. To get those checks he doesn't need to KO may weather or even win (he knows he can't win in these pillow gloves), he just needs to press Mayweather and fight like hell to make it entertaining.

pretty much follow the Mayorga model - guaranteed to get him 2-3more years of paydays as a stepping stone for Thurman/ Brook or even a Khan rematch. If he's lucky he may be fed to Manny or Canelo.

Here is a description of the "Pillows" you speak of, god you are an idiot

"The Power Lock glove is also considered a punchers glove as it was also worn by Josesito Lopez when he broke Victor Ortiz’s jaw and by Ruslan Provodnikov when he badly hurt Timothy Bradley in their fight."

So that's gonna be your excuse? Maidana "lost his hunger"?

    probably a very similar outcome

mayweather is too smart to get beat by the same gameplan in a rematch

dumb question. maidana obviously wants to beat floyd to a pulp if he can. i don't know if he'll fight smart enough to do it though. should have the first time.

Mayweather has some of the best defense and counter punching in the game and it takes a tremendous performance, great focus and maybe some luck

Castillo just couldn't do it twice

Maidana fought a tremendous fight and was just short

I wonder if he's capable of doing it again

Floyd is old unlike in Castillo 2 and Maidana has a big size advantage and might just have the right combo of traits to always be difficult

I think Floyd wins again without the same controversy

the first mayweather-castillo fight was close because mayweather hurt his hand and had to beat castillo with one hand...but floyd clearly deserved the decision. in the rematch, floyd's hands were heatlhy so he showed how much better he really was than castillo. nothing castillo could do about that, he was just in with a much better fighter. maidana lost the first fight by a pretty sizeable margin of about 9-3. if this rematch follows the castillo model, and floyd simply assets his dominance early, it's gonna be 11-1 or 12-0

Castillo came in the second fight with the same plan and Floyd actually adjusted his and you can see the results.

Maidana will be even more Hungry for success, he feels he can win even more than he did the first time.
