why not introduce boxing with mma gloves??

    why not bring boxing back to its roots?? i fought both mma and boxing...........and trust me, 4 ounce mma gloves would really seperate the men from the boys.

    with an mma glove you cant walk through a jab or do a rope a dope. or cover up like arthur abraham and let the other guy pound the gloves.

    this would make some real exciting fights imo.

    There would definitely be more knockouts but there would also be many eye pokes from the exposed fingers.

    Boxers would die left and right with 4 oz gloves. The only thing saving the UFC from deaths is mma fighters have no idea how to punch.

    That and their glass jaws. Because they tend to get starched quickly, they don't take as much punishment.:yep

    Watch John Wayne Parr's CMT shows. Stand up only in a cage with 6oz (they tried 4oz initially, too damaging). You are talking world class Thai fighters and kick boxers competing.
