I thought Froch/Ward was a very close fight.
I felt Froch was a bit past his best and is further past his best now in my opinion, but if a Ward/Froch rematch happened, I think in the UK, Froch would win.
When Froch and Ward fought first time round, I think Froch was very jaded having his 5th fight out of 6 on the road, whilst I think Ward was less fatigued with constant travel. I dont think Ward delaying the fight helped Froch much either, with the time of year for being abroad, though that can happen.

Look at their S6 run
- Ward gets Kessler at home, Green at home, 2 points given for not fighting Dirrell (but does face Bika at home), Abraham at home on a not great run and then Froch in his home country.
- Froch gets undefeated Dirrell at home, Kessler away, Abraham away neutral location and never clearly beaten, Johnson away and then Ward away.

Now even though Froch is an old SMW, without the wear and tear of the travel, I would favour Froch to go after Ward and win inside the distance

The first fight was NOT close at all. Please post the rounds that you gave to Froch so we can all have a good laugh.

And while Super Dunce likes to bring up Kell/Porter all the time, the difference is that Froch/Ward ALREADY happened with Froch being thoroughly outclassed. That's like Hans trying to say Porter will win the rematch, ignoring what happened the first time around.

There isn't a place on this planet where Froch can beat Ward. Even with a hometown ref for Froch, where he can do all his wrestling tactices, that won't work with Ward because Ward LOVES to fight on the inside.

Froch himself said he wasn't interested in a rematch with Ward after the Groves fight, because he knows damn well beating Ward is a near impossible task for him.
