Why the Klitschko's are unappreciated?

Both Klitschkos were more popular than Wilder , Stiverne and Jennings are now.

Vitali was never under appreciated when he was active. That is a straight up lie. He just hasn't left much behind in terms of legacy to be remembered.

Wlad is under appreciated because people do not like to see cheating and unsportmanlike behaviour in sport.

The fact he is not American is complete rubbish as he defends his titles on Eurosport over hear in Europe which never in its history was a platform for the HW Championship untill Wlad came along.
Boxers who fight on Eurosport are all journey man with full time jobs picking things up.

 

When did Wlad have anyone recover his title for him? Last I checked, he won it back in the ring, via KO, and has been unstoppable since.

My point still stands that holding losses that happened years ago, before a fighter's most dominant run, is pointless when measuring the accomplishment. He grew from his losses just like Johnson did from his losses. Did Max Schmeling sparking him diminish Louis' run at the top? Absolutely not.

Now, just admit that Wlad has a superior title reign to Johnson, and there may be some hope for you yet to bounce back from this crippling haterism. I'm not expecting it since you hate Wlad just that much, but the door's open.

The Jewish-American boxing media people like Max Kellerman, Eric Raskin, Al Bernstein, David P. Greisman (and, in past years, Howard Cosell) have always supported and admired black athletes. They discredit white boxers when they become successful like Wladimir Klitschko has.

If the Klitschkos were African-Americans but otherwise exactly the same as they are, they'd be loved by the same ones who hate them now.

All changing their skin colour will mean is that they were the first black titlists to engage in tag teaming. They still tag team regardless of their colour.

The Klitschkos are hated for basically the following reasons

1- Race bias. this is the reason most black people hate them: their unforgivable whiteness

2- Nostalgia bias. boxing fanboys who clinge to the past, and can't stand their old legends moving down even one spot in the atg rankings because of the Kbros

3 - Nationalistic bias. the reason they're hated by white america (cold war, usa vs ussr bs) and brittards (lennon nuthuggers)


It can be any combination of these three reasons. for example, a black brittard would tend to hate the Klitschkos with particular passion
