I don't know why Khan thinks he deserves a shot against either Pacman or Floyd, he hasn't done anything in recent years to make me feel like he deserves a shot against either guy.

Beating a 5 year past his prime Luis Collazo shouldn't put him in contention for anything at the moment aside from another match against another WW non-titlist. I'd like to see him fight a few more times and WIN before his name gets thrown around as a potential opponent for either Pac/Floyd. Let's see how he would do in a Garcia rematch, or a fight against guys like Thurman, Bradley, JMM, Matthyse or Broner.

He's a good fighter who is entertaining to watch, but his resume has been quite unimpressive for a few years now. He just can't catapult other fighters who have done so much more than he has the past few years and just think he deserves to go after the 2 biggest PPV stars in the sport. That's delusional.

Everyone is getting off topic, the op asked how it's any different then top rank asking fighters to either sign or extend their contracts. I don't think it's any different, Chavez has made his disappointment with top rank clear saying he does not want to sign a extension (within his right) and arum is c0ck blocking ggg vs Chavez Jr. Then bradley also made it clear before he resigned with top rank that he was not happy about it but had no other options. Mosley had to leave golden boy and fight under top rank (he is a golden boy stock holder), Marquez had a bad leaving with golden boy also because he left on bad terms to sign with top rank to fight pac.

It's no different, but it does not make it right either way. Arum is a scum and if Floyd is making the same demands then he is also scum. However pac COULD of tried to make the fight happen by not signing his life away to arum and locking him self into re matches for the rest of his career. A lot of *******s always said floyd would never fight Cotto , floyd was scared etc & they fought as soon as Cotto left Bob arum.

I think that's fair. I'd much rather have seen Khan in with Pac than Algieri. The roach/sparring angle would have made it particularly interesting.

    no.

according to a ben thompson article, TR takes 27.5% of their total net revenue and pac takes the other 72.5%, guaranteed purse included.

moving would likely entail haymon becoming his advisor/manager, and haymon (like he does with floyd) takes about 26.75% of his guaranteed purse, then TMT would take their promotional cut....

    Never say never.

But I'll only believe it when I see them both in the same ring.

He may not have been a top student but Muhammad Ali DID graduate Floyd Mayweatherjr didn't he DROPPED OUT & it shows. You can understand every word Ali says in those clips All ypou get from Mayweather is My name is errr Errr My name is Floyd Mayweather Errr Errr

If indeed Alli dis suffer from dyslexia it only prove that his forced banishment from boxing was POLITICALLY motivated. He did not pass the test for induction into the army but as soon as his name was linked to Islam his grade was upped to A1
Look what Lonnie & Ali were doing for the kids even thoo he was a very sick man What does Punk Mayweather do// Oh sorry he hands out $100 bills to strippers

Mickey Garcia and Chavez jr has put people on game about TR contracts and those guarantees not being guaranteed, Mayweather offered this guy 40 mil at one point. Haymon fighters are hated on for being overpayed. Anyway I thought Pacquiao would fight for free so who cares what he's offered.

    Hypocrisy at its highest.

    1) If Ali retired for 1,5 year then came back and fought Bob Foster (same as JMM for so-called 'retired' Floyd'), would he lose? :huh

    2) Floyd's fighting Maydana, who's 6 years younger (that's enough to be Floyd's son:roll:) , Floyd's trying to act like he is granddaddy Bernard Hopkins, who is actually 13 years older than self-proclaimed TBE.
