By the way, Alvarez threw about 100 more punches in the Mayweather fight than in the Trout fight.

    So he clearly WAS throwing

If team pac knew of a possible mayweather fight, no way they would try to fight jmm before. Pac has never had a clean or clear win over jmm and would look bad which in turn would diminish some of the hype. I think they gave him chris to look spectacular, Manny can walk chris down and look good doing it. Wishful thinking any way.

In terms of cake baking, this one's been left in the oven way too long, but I'm sure there's no shortage of people still willing to choke down the dry, tough, sandy crumbs of it.

Well guys it's been good talking a possible match between these 2 greats . It's almost time for the trolls to wake up and key away. Get ready for your "corpsejr, pacroid, duckweather, catchweightquiao" terms to start flying.

I hope the fight does happen but will not be holding my breath
If it does happen I hope its held anywhere BUT Vegas. Manny will never get a level playing field there. I hope it would be made with no "special" demands by the Mayweather team. Make the fight under the commission rules to the letter.
Its time for Floyd to prove himself, Manny too. Fight your nemesis in an honest straight down the line fight to see who the better man is today. It will never end the what if's of the past but>>>>
Bottom Line.... May the best man win now

Pacman - Boring UD for Money...
    Khan _ Money's 28th KO or 27th. I forget....
Lara - Gets schooled in the worst way.. Learns what real ring generalship is. No place to run and hide...

Maidana is a tougher for Money than PAC everyday of the week! To say he's a weak opponent is your excuse for hatred. And than you're going to feed me an ex-roided up midget ( with lots O skill mind you) on the downside of his stacking cycle... I don't think so...

Where else would it make as much money as in vegas? I'm sure not even team pac would want it any where else. Vegas is already a tourist attraction with out floyd. Think all the casinos, strip clubs, bars etc . People are going to want to make this a fight weekend/vacation and there would be activities and events all week.

The location to me is not that important, but I'm sure they are going to throw that up for bids and Vegas most likely will win.

What I would like for this is to be broadcasted on regular tv like cbs. They can hype this up and make it a huge event, imagine the ratings if it were free with stacked cards.

Any way I'm sure it's going to be ppv but would be awsome to be on regular tv .

I'm a floyd fan and I'm not saying pac has the tougher fight. However I feel floyd beat maidana convincingly and don't see the point of a rematch.

That's because you know the sweet science and fight nights are emotional. I had no problem withe judging. I had it 6-4-2 Money.. However he lost the 1st 3 rounds to me.... The rematch is due to how strong Maidana looked not what he did in the ring. And the fact that he used lot of dirty tactics that were somewhat effective. So, to the casual fan it looks close... Than I watched that tape later. 8-4 Money....
