(and how about Yaegashi, rallying in the 5th, giving Choc massive grief, after being down once!?!?!??!?!!)

Yeah, felt like I was shouting at the wall telling people that.

It was hardly a gimme for RG. This had the feel to me of a big unification even though it wasn't.

It was. It was the unification of a prospective ATG and a lineal. Gonzalez might go up one, but he probably rises and falls with that title.

You want to see him with Segura or the rematch?

Would he have been ranked number 2 if he didn't have a strap ?

Toooough pick (not the worst problem to have, though!)

Segura is a fresh look and you just know it will be ferocious given how they both operate.

...but then El Gallo deserves another try and they hardly stunk the joint out last time.

May the best man win. :good

So, Gonzalez is the lineal champion? The man who beat the man who beat the man? He beat Yaegashi, who beat Igarashi.

I think Gonzalez is already a shoo-in for the HoF.

    Yes.

I didn't have Estrada-Gonzalez as close as most, but if the second one is close a trilogy is in the offing. But the idea of watching Gonzalez getting Segura under control...

You have Estrada in your p4p top 10?
