    One excuse after the other!
    1. Bad preparation
    2. Broken jaw
    3. Needs a new trainer
    4. Weight problems
Poor form from Ricky! But you know the saying "A poor tradesman always blames his tools".

I can't recall Ricky blaming the jaw for his last 2 defeats most of that was down to Jim Watt on sky who kept bringing it up in the Crawford fight and if Ricky felt he needed a new trainer then so be it, I can see why he has weight issues he's 5 ft 9 or 5 ft 10 that must have been killing him to make it but as I say he looks healthy moving up hopefully we can see a few wins.

How can you slag Nelson when Ricky Burns was let's be honest a failed (twice) British title boxer, it seems clear that Burns,Hearn and his manager seem to be making excuse after excuse, first it's Nelsons fault, then it's a weight issue, I've also read Morrison say Burns doesn't like fighting small men and southpaws!

    Failed British boxer???

Not sure I'd class being a 2 weight world champion as a failure.

    I hope he bounces back.

The irony of this post from you when all you do is make excuses for Scott Harrison being an alcoholic waster who is shot to ****

If you read the post correctly it was referring how he feel short of British title level twice, then when Billy trained him he went from failing at that level to world title winning level. Some difference.

I meet you once a,nd you seemed a good guy, but on this forum you talk ****. I have had many different opinions to Billy Nelson on here, but how anyone who is part of Team Ricky can slag of Guy that masterminded him from fringe british class to world titles is beyond me. Ricky is one who needs to look in mirror

Billy is a top gent he came on here fight after fight and took the flack from everyone on here when Ricky was struggling but he took it with dignity he didn't shy away when he easily could have respect to you for that Billy you done great things for Ricky's career and as a fan of Ricky I'm delighted for the turn around you made with him, He felt he needed a change and I respect his opinion and will continue to follow him but that won't bring any bad blood comments from me like that Heavyweight #1 character.

I think Burns will struggle at 140

Even if he starts well at the weight his style will not go down well abroad and he may well have to go abroad to get big fights because I do not see the likes of Broner, Matthysse, Peterson, Provodnikov or even Omar Figueroa rushing over to Scotland after some recent Burns decisions.

Didn't even mention Garcia because he looks like he is moving to 147.
