It's discussed on the first Fight Camp 360 here: https://vimeopro.com/joshglaser/fc360/video/14613453

at 10.20 then again at 16.55.

Goosen stood his ground despite pressure from Ken Hershman and all the other promoters. Why is Ward not more grateful to him rather than continually trying to sue him? :think

Ward is a stay at home, bible thumping, headbutting, hugging disgrace. He will have made peanuts by the time he retires to become a pastor in that shithole Jokeland.

:lol: He needs to beg Super Middleweight cash cow Carl 'The Cobra' Froch to rematch him in England if he ever wants to make decent money again. :deal

might as well continue to rob people of their money, after he retires from boxing. being a religious con man seems the ideal career choice.

Actually, with Taylor bowing out after one fight and Dirrell after his second, I do recall Showtime at some point in some public announcement backing Ward to fight in Oakland so that there would be an American presence in the tourney.

It was not ideal for the fans or his opposition though.

And by contract, the seminal and finals were to be held in the US.

Watching that gives you an idea of what a ball ache it must be to try and arrange a fight with Ward. Hershman says Ward is not willing to have a conversation about traveling, and Goosen kind of agrees.

Goosen also says he can't speak to Ward over the phone and has to have meeting face to face.:lol:

I don't think even Mayweather would demand as much of his opponents to meet his terms as Ward does.

The tourney has been done for 3 years and people are still so butthurt about a massive underdog Andre Ward winning.

They just can't stop talking about Ward even though Ward is semi-inactive right now.

And we are seeing some of the reasons here why he is "semi-inactive", he is virtually impossible to negotiate fair terms with.
