clearly you do not understand the meaning of the word 'if'. go to dictionary, then return once you have read up on this word. anyway we have had some opinions rating this top five smw as below 60th at MW so thanks for your failed input so far.
Your post is an instant failure, your trolling as usual. Calzaghe beat Huggy Beat Hopkins fair and square.
In all honesty, neither Hagler nor SRL were at their peak when they faced off, yet I'll give SRL the benefit of the doubt. I also think his win over an over the hill Hagler is really still better h2h or resume wise or any way you want to put it than anyone on Hopkins resume easily. I gotta agree with Hopkins picking natural welters like the 2 "Sugars" over him. 1. Greb 2. SRR 3. Monzon 4. Hagler 5. SRL
I don't think SRL can be considered as being anywhere near a top 5 all-time middleweight; probably not even top 25, to be honest. As far as I can recall, Leonard only had two bouts sanctioned at Middleweight. One of these is the much debated win over Hagler; the other is the defeat to Camacho in his last pro bout. This does not constitute greatness achieved in the Middleweight Division.
H2H prime for prime I'd pick Hagler over Monzon but both were amazing middleweights so it all comes down to personal preference.
I love Sugar Ray, but he only fought once as a middleweight so it is hard to put him in the all time ranks. Been watching a lot of Monzon lately and he was a punching machine who I would rate even money or better against anybody. He is remembered mostly as a puncher, but when he wanted to box, he would box your ears off (Briscoe, Valdez). Could do it all
Tito showed that he manage to bring his power up to 160 , so he was a definitely a threat . But he is no ATG MW , Not even close . DelaHoya was barely a legit 154 pounder when he fought B hop , gave him a better than expected tough fight though before he got caught .
