Even at his best, Segura would have suffered even worse than what he is getting here tonight.

    Round 10

Estrada is physically moving Segura and knocking him off-kilter with jabs on the head. Segura is threshing at the body of Estrada, unable to get a bead on him with the length-challenged right jab upstairs. Estrada is feeding jabs into the swollen chipmunk cheeks of Segura, making him blink and turn his face while creeping away toward the ropes despite his fighter's instincts which still have him waving his gloves out in motions of mock aggression.

    10-9 Estrada

    100-90 Estrada

Oh no doubt. It would have been fun though.

    Round 11

Estrada is leading with rights on the body now, chasing Segura around the ring. Estrada is waiting at mid-range, confusing Segura by not moving in even when he stuns him. Segura takes incautious baby steps toward Estrada, thinking about being the aggressor, but indecisive, not committing. Estrada catches him unawares. Big combo! Segura on the ropes...waved off!

    TKO11!!

Think Segura still could've continued but had no chance of winning so I'm fine with the stoppage.

Excellent performance from El Gallo. A shutout followed by a stoppage. Segura's swelling was just too bad. Shades of his defeat to Viloria.

    (deep exhale)

Thank you for the memories, Segura. I'll hope for more but I won't expect them.

And wow Juan Francisco Estrada. Legit. Holy legit.

There is no better matchup right now than Estrada vs Gonzalez.
