I will say, I like that Broner is calling out Matthysse.

    You can't question Broner's toughness.

He's just not skilled. He doesn't know how to box. His power is overrated. I think that shot just kind of surprised Taylor and caught him a little off balance.

    He wasn't hurt.

    He got up fine.

Broner is tough though and take a beating for real. And he has great stamina.

Lucas will beat the crap out of Broner. If you struggle with Emmanuel Taylor you ain't beating The Machine!

Algieri dominated Taylor, who Broner struggled with, who beat Mayfield who beat Herrera who beat Garcia.

You can't act like you are Floyd Mayweather Jr. and look like that against Taylor. People will hate you

It still amazes me Broner is a 3 weight world champion.

Matthysse will punch holes in him

Broner vs Algieri would be a fun fight I'd favor Broner in. Don't like his chances vs Matthysse. Favor him VS everybody at lightweight though.

Only way I see him taking out Matthysse is landing early on his cold chin, ala Molina, but finishing the job.

Actually, he is both exactly like and exactly opposite of Rios. More alike for many reasons, though. I like this shout out. Broner is def a tad better than Rios, though.

What makes you think Broner can't beat Algeri?

Broner's power is overrated, certainly not on the level of Provo's.

    He arm punches.

He has no footwork and his overall boxing games has a lot of holes in it.

I will say, he can take a hell of a beating and he has great stamina.

I suppose it's possible, he could come forward and outwork Algeri, but more likely, Algeri outboxes and outworks this kid.

    But mostly outboxes.

What exactly does Broner do that impresses you?

To me, he is a Rios with a little bit better defense.

    That's it...

But he also doesn't punch as hard as Rios.

    I wouldn't say that.

In fact, I would favor that Molina to beat Broner too.

The only thing with Broner is, the dude can take one hell of a beating. And he has great stamina.

That's the one thing that makes him kind of unpredictable.

    He's a lot like Rios.
