Regardless, I would love to see Broner and Matthysse square off. I don't have allegiances. I want the best fights to be made. The sport always comes before the boxer.

And that's why I give the advantage to Lucas. I feel Broner would try to stand and trade with him even though he obviously gets pushed to the ropes way too easily. And when (and not if), Broner gets pushed to the ropes, Lucas would dig to the body way too well. Lucas' jab and his overhand right-when he uses it- would hurt Broner too much. And we saw tonight how effective Lucas is with his liver shot. I don't mind being proven wrong, but I feel Lucas would be too much. I'm not overrating him, but I'm also not underrating Broner.

    50/50? NO:-(

Garcia is a lot more skilled than Broner. As physically gifted as Broner is, he makes too many mistakes. He takes too many punches and against a guy like Mathysse he won't see the end of round 12.

Mathysse will wreck Broner, Broner always fails to respect his opponents ability.

Close fight, IMO. Broner has enough to put Mathysse on the canvas. Mathysse could do the same. People are underestimating Broner and overestimating Mathysse in this one, I think.

I like both but Matthysse will win it.
Broner needs to change his lifestyle and focus to boxing

Broner hasn't got that kind of pop at 140-147 like at 135

    Matthysse by KO

He has enough pop. Lucas has been put down 2x. He was put down by Molina who is not a big puncher at 140 and was moving up in weight. Broner's punches are quick and clean and he throws mostly power punches. He will test Lucas's chin. With that said, he is in danger of being dropped by Lucas if he does not shore up that leaky defense. I don't see it as a walk in the park for either guy. Broner is tougher than given credit for.

Molina was moving up with a big frame, the added weight benefited him increasing his punching power. Broner is small so the added weight bogged him down draining him of some of his power. Broner's tough but Molina and Lucas would both stop him.

Broner could not hurt Matthysse at all, he does not have the power. Matthysse has already knocked out the PED - Peterson in the 3rd round and is the real IBF champion......................Broner is an idiot...............

Maidana could not stop him @ 147 lbs, where Broner was undersized for the weight. And at one point, he hurt Maidana late in the fight. There is no basis to say he'd be stopped by Lucas and certainly not Molina. He might taste the canvas against Lucas, if he's caught going backwards. He could catch Lucas with something he does not see, when Lucas is charging forward.
