i got liston in this. power of big george and boxing ability of ali who both troubled him. while i feel frazier beats george liston was a different animal all together. and he had the stamina needed to go late with smokin joe.
I agree with Liston over Frazier. Foreman beat Frazier twice. I don't agree that "Frazier beats George".
You can't really make a swarmer favourite over guys like Liston or Foreman or Louis. They do, naturally, what Louis and Liston usually have to trick them into.
Liston would injure his shoulder slipping on his own **** after an anchor left hook to the mid-air portion of his own anus and Frazier would win by either first-round kayo or an RTD. Easy fight to call, that.
This has been done many times. And I still give Frazier, the prime version, a great chance. The guy who shows up against Foreman gets wiped out. The guy who took apart Quarry and beat ALi is a whole different ball game. That Frazier takes Sonny deeper than he can swim. Puts more heat on Liston, hits him more often and harder than Sonny was used to.
frazier, with one eye since 1965? He, could not beat foreman & liston with 2 eyes much less one. styles folks!!
