he does deserve respect for his resume , but he did go low very often against matteyse nd he uses it as a tactic in a lot of his fights, its a really bad foul and want to see a ref stop it early

 

Garcia's biggest wins have been against popular fighters. Of course many fans want the results to be reversed in a rematch. Plus, Garcia is in good action fights.

Matthysse, Khan, and Morales all have large fan bases.

I'm a Garcia fan, he has clear wins over Khan and Matthysse. Resume wise, there is no need to rematch either but they were both fan friendly fights and most fans would like to see rematches. Herrera lost a close fight, this is the guy who deserves a rematch but the fight was not great and is not really of interest to the fans.

Basically, it is not about avenging wins but more about putting on good entertaining fights which will interest the fans whilst generating more money and as you said:

 

I would want to see a Lucas rematch but feel garcia is justified in not giving him a rematch. Garcia clearly beat lucas, and though you can blame it on the eye, it was Danny who swelled it up. It's boxing and the point is to damage your opponent. People here act like garcia cheated because he made Lucas's eye swell.

 

I'm not sure if you're serious but I don't know why you feel the need to say you don't believe he's that good. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Floyd fight Lucas, Amir, and Herrera. If you agree then that's really saying something because we know what kind of standards Floyd is held to. And Danny beat them all, Floyd would presumably beat them too but, I think they all have really good showings against Floyd.
