mike tyson innocent or guilty?

Tyson certainly was no angel. I believe him to be a ***ual deviant and yes, he did have a history of ***ual harassment towards women. As I said, it's for this reason that I cannot say for sure that he was innocent or guilty.
Only he and Washington know what really happened.

If he was guilty then yes, only three years for **** is an extremely lenient sentence and he deserved more.

But be that as it may, each case needs to be treated on it's own merits. He was standing trial for allegedly raping Washington, not all of his other past sins.
What I find interesting about this situation is that despite the thousands of women he bedded, not anyone else ever accused him of ****. I would imagine that, just as a leopard does not change it's spots, nor does a person with criminal tendencies towards this sort of crime. So for me it's interesting that he was never accused before or after.

We need also to understand that several ***ual assault crimes he was accused and found guilty of were things like grabbing a woman's buttocks or breasts. In other words, not much different than what happens in nightclubs (or even the workplace) all over the world all the time. But since it was Tyson, it makes headlines.
I'm not defending this sort of behaviour nor condoning it at all, but it's still a far cry from raping someone.

The DNA evidence alone was overwhelming in regards to O. J. Simpson being guilty of the the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

1) 1.5 milliliters of OJ's blood was missing from a police vial ; 2) OJ's blood found at the scene contained EDTA, a blood preservative used in ... police vials; 3) OJ's blood was collected from the rear gate 3 days after the murders, however, a photograph of the rear gate taken the day after the murders revealed no blood.

This leads to 3 unanswered questions: Why was blood missing? Why did the blood contain EDTA? How did blood appear after 3 days, where it wasn't after 1 day?

Reasonable doubt.

Christ he all but admitted he did it. Give me a ****ing break. He had a cut on his hand that matches where the glove is cut, his guest, heard someone jump over the fence at about the exact same time. He even had blood on his socks from one of the victims.

He lost in civil court and as for criminal court, he purchased a verdict.

Anyone, regardless of race, should be appalled at someone being able to buy an outcome. Neither you nor I could possibly afford to bring in a legal team and experts to spin the facts the way he was able to. And yes, the facts were spun plain and simple.

I've been watching crime shows all my life and the vast majority of people get convicted with just a fraction of this amount of evidence.

Of course he raped her.

Tyson attacked Bill Cosby's daughter right before that, but she got away. At the time, Tyson and Cosby were two of the most well-known celebs in the world. When Cosby's daughter told her parents, instead of calling the police, they decided to handle it "themselves." Cosby and some black religious leaders met with Tyson. Instead of bringing him down by pressing charges, they wanted to keep it "in house." And Mike promised to "seek treatment" in exchange for the Cosbys keeping it quiet. Then Tyson saw Cosby's daughter at a club and was enraged that she'd accused him and told her wasn't going to treatment. Cosby went back to her dad to tell him that Tyson wasn't going to treatment, but nobody did anything about it.

Then he attacked Washington, a teenager, but she didn't get away. And, the same black religious leaders came to Washington and tried to get her to take some money to make it all go away and preserve Tyson's rep. But she turned them all down ... because he raped her.

So the black religious leaders (the Rev. Jemison, Louis Farrakhan, etc.) turned on her.

Washington's parents divorced, because Washington said she only went with Tyson because her dad was such a big fan of his, and her younger sister was being attacked in school because kids were saying Washington was lying, and the dad blamed himself.

Tyson got out of jail, signed a $100 million deal with the MGM Grand, and today says he wished he'd have raped Washington and her mom.

Yeah, he's as innocent as can be.
