Not denying what u say. I know very to nothing little about that scene.

But Kinahan has been preoccupied with major law cases in recent years. Lots of guys probably took advantage of his troubles to be slow to pay him money owed. Kavanagh would likely have been making regular trips to Ireland to "encourage" slow payers to pay up.
If the debt collector dies...the debt dies with him, usually.
So could easily have been some irish mob that hit Kavanagh. His demise would have suited a lot of people, I'm sure.
Just saying.

Let's not forget Jamie at this time ...no fun losing a parent ...for anyone...

The talk in Irish papers is that the hit came from a rival Irish gang

 

they dident iintend to kill Jamie more they shot him in the legs kavana was shot in the back and head that's when you want to kill some one not mistaken identity wake up

 

Can see why some may think it was a mistaken identity between Jamie & Kavanagh... shaven head etc etc.

But same token, as mentioned above, there's a difference cracking someone in the legs to what happened to the Irishman...

 

The target didn't change ....the attitude did....
You can bet the shooters were the laughing stock of the gangland scene for shooting a celebrity by mistake.
Plus you don't know what Kavanagh did in the meantime.

I don't think it was a mistake he is going around with that lot staying at ther house sey what you want that was no mistaken identity don't mix with them if you don't want to get painted with the same brush

 

I Agree, you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas.

But do I think Jamie was the target? No.

I just think the killers upped the ante second time round due to being embarrassed and annoyed at the foul up they made shooting Jamie.
Plus as I say the recently deceased Hatchet may have made some moves himself in the meantime to force their hand too.
