I can't argue with the way you see it, I just happen to see it very differently. Mosley hit Mayweather with an overhand right which was probably the best right hand I have seen him deliver. Cotto wasn't hit with a punch like that and neither was Margarito. Corley and Torres had Cotto doing the Macarena and they didn't hit Cotto nearly as hard as Mosley hit Mayweather. lol at Mayweather having an "average" chin. An average chin doesn't go through as many fights as Mayweather without being put down.

The evidence that you refuse to acknowledge, namely that a past prime SSM almost made him do the Judah chicken dance.

Leave the Chinchecking to the qualified professionals.

The evidence that you don't understand the reality that Mayweather has an iron chin is despicable. Have you even been to The ChinCheckers Inc?

By the way...how is your chin holding up?

He has one of the best chins in the history of the sport

18 years in the game, never went down ONCE.

    18 years!

Not only this, but the man has been hit several times by bombs, and shots that he didn't see coming.

That is impressive to say the very least.

Floyd has a very good chin but a perfect punch can shatter even the most solid chin.

Several people have said this. You guys are wrong.

It was two punches, not one. The 2nd punch (right hook that hit Floyd on the temple) is the one that really buckled him. And I would argue any fighter that doesn't see that shot will get wobbled. A shot to the temple will take your equilibrium away.

The first punch, the one everybody drools over when Floyd grabbed Shane's arm, is what got it started, but Floyd still had stable legs and wasn't visibly hurt. It was the 2nd punch that wobbled him, to the point he almost went down on one knee. His first few backward steps were also unstable, and he was clearly on his heels.

You guys don't even know what you're watching, seriously. Anybody who says it was "one punch" should really re-watch Round 2 of that fight. Floyd was still recovering from the first punch when the 2nd one landed on the temple and almost dropped him.

My chin doesn't have anything to do with it, and I'm not claiming Floyd has a bad chin, just not a good as you make it out to be. I would rate it as a 7.0-7.5/10 If he had a better chin than that, I wouldn't even be talking about the SSM punch because it wouldn't even have affected him.

mosley hit floyd flush on the temple with a very hard shot which caused his brain to bounce up against his skull. most guys that get hit like that go down.

"he took a tremendous shot from a tremendous fighter and he was hurt, BAD. but he recovered and u cant teach that intestinal fortitude. that fight made me realize that floyd can fight in any era. it took that inner reservoir of strength that everyone has, but not everyone can activate it. only the great ones can activate it."

It looked like it was made of fiberglass after he got caught by a unroided Mosley.
