If Haye's passion for the game or fighting spirit was anything like his natural talent, he would be one considered of the best fighters in the game. That's the problem with Haye, i just think he has wasted a talent when you compare him to the other heavyweights today. I still believe he's the only one in the past few years who could have beaten the Klitchsko's. People will bring up his fight with Wlad but in reality, neither fighter did anything in that fight. Had Haye been a bit more active in the rounds, he could have won because there wasn't much happening in the rounds. The two times he did attack Wlad, you could see Wlad was in panic mode. I just think he blew his opportunity in that fight because he could have done a lot better. I hope he does become an active fighter, not pull out of fights etc...if he's serious about boxing again, we should give him the benefit of the doubt on the last injuries, as long as he is active in the future. The heavyweight division is better with him than without him. Lets see if that happens, the man is 33 and has only had 28 fights. History suggests he won't be active or deliver on promises. I hope he proves me wrong on that.
He's been pulling his **** for years, anyone that gives him the benefit of the doubt at this point is plain stupid and gullible. Haye's entire MO is conning people into buying his BS, making money off that while delivering non-performances.
Wlad may well retire in fear when he hears this news. He wants no part of a rematch with a fully fit Haye
Haye coming back and staying active while on Showtime would be a very good thing, especially for the heavyweight division. Problem is nobody believes him. He'll probably talk about doing this or that and actually ends up doing nothing. I'll believe Haye is back and staying active when I see it.
You think he faked that surgery in Germany and delibertaely kept himself out of boxing for over a year and gave up millions of pounds because.....
Dam Al already owns boxing TV internationally. Now he wants to own all the boxers too. Typical of Heymon.. The invisible Czar of the sport...
