ROFLMAO you have to be the biggest clown EVER on this forum. When was Maidana ever in trouble???? Floyd was several times.
Floyd has no power he couldn't break an egg. Still he knows Kenny will make sure he comes to no harm " Daddy Daddy I'm cut I cant see:|:| Maidana is a bully he roughed me up Daddy" :scaredas:

    It will break 1 m

    Easily

The rematch has a lot of intrigued to it, and doesn't have to contend vs nba game 7's.

Very very likely it will do big numbers this time.

I don't think it'll do big numbers. He'll be lucky to pull in 1 million PPV buys.

The major issue is Marcos Maidana is not really that well known outside of Argentina. When FLoyd fights these B-level type of fighters who don't carry a big name with them (i.e. Guerrero, Madiana,) than his promotion will struggle to get to 1 million PPV buys.

When FLoyd fights guys that are naturally big draws on their own- such as Alvarez, JMM and DLH- he'll have no problem eclipsing 1-2 million buys as is evident with some of the records he holds with those fighters in terms of PPV #'s.

I think the rematch will probably fetch somewhere between 800-900 K buys. There's nothing wrong with that at all and it should be the highest PPV tally this year for any boxer.

Now if Mayweather fights Pacman in May and they begin promotions this winter for it, I can see that fight possibly breaking the 3 million mark. It's that big of a fight still.

If this fight does 750K, I will be surprised. It has not been heavily promoted so the "casual" fan won't be that interested and a lot of "real" fans simply do not feel that a rematch is necessary. When you consider that the undercard is not that compelling, 750K is being generous. With respect to Pac v Mayweather, I don' think that fight will do 2 million ppv. A lot of the interest that was once there has abated and a lot of the general public have moved on.

When was mayweather in trouble? I don't recall him being hurt in the fight at all. Youre the one sounding like a clown.

LOL at MVC making bold statements on PPV sales…AFTER espinoza has publicly said he WILL NOT release the sales figures! His own ass is about to get fired over this money losing mayweather venture. He's not going to call public attention to lousy number a second time.

If it does over 1m i'd be very surprised nobody i know is talking about it, Living on the other side of the pond the fights on at like 4am so i said to mates about coming back to mine after a night out for the fight. They didn't even know he was fighting this weekend. IDK about the states but worldwide there is **** all interest in this fight.

Will do very well due to many clueless haters claiming chino won or drew at worst.

People are so dumb they believe what they hear regardless if they even seen the match or know how to score rounds even a little bit

This gets even better! Floyd has now paid Eminem to feature his new track with Sia & has Eminem publicising the fight!

    :patsch

Now lets add that to the list. Manny was supposedly using Floyds name to sell his fight right? What do you make of this list then:

1- Going to the extent of discrediting the great Muhammad Ali's career?
2- Get Ariza to jump on his twitter to stirr the pot
    3- Talking about Manny Pacquiao.
4- Claiming he is going to get a KO.
5- Twitter beef with 50 cent.
6- Pushing and shoving with Maidana at the conferences.
7- Eminem to advertise "The Moment2"

He must be worried about those PPV numbers that he cares so much about huh?

Remember "The Moment" 1? how many PPV's did that do? Oh wait... that's right, we will never know! Floyd isn't allowed to have FLOPPED! So whats the easiest way to prevent that being known? hide the numbers!

    From Ellerbe himself:

"I have an idea of the numbers, and we're very pleased with where we're at. This process is a little different than maybe it was in the past. Once I have a good, accurate number, then I'll let the public know."

That was 4 months ago? with a stacked card? The only reason why the process was different, was because the world took the fight for what it was meant to be. A lopsided cherry pick.

So... 1.5 million views you reckon?

It seems to me, Floyd is just as luck as Maidana of having a rematch. His fan base clearly tuned out for what was considered (prefight) a boring fight.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Iono about all that, MVC. With this lackluster undercard, predetermined outcome and waning interest, a mil will be a feat. But, if it does by chance reach a mil and 1/2, then Floyd might be the #1 candidate for boxing's biggest attraction...ever.
