Ricky didn't perform against Crawford I'm sure he knows that himself that he wasn't good enough on the night but to say he didn't have a go against Gonzalez and Beltran? He was 3 rounds down with 3 to go when Gonzalez had thrown everything into the 7th round to try and stop Ricky and he fought back and almost decapitated Gonzalez with an uppercut towards the end of the 7th after that Gonzalez was shattered and he wasn't injured he quit because he knew Ricky was going to come back and stop him.

The Beltran fight I don't know how anyone can question Ricky in that fight he was winning the first 2 rounds comfortably then got injured and still fought on for 30 minutes with his jaw hanging off his face taking shots and still trying to fire his own back even though he wasn't having the best success with it, Why do we have to take sides? Both guys have been good champions and ambassadors for Scottish boxing we should be proud we've had both of these guys represent us instead of "Oh my guy's bigger and better than yours".

 

Very unfair statement saying Ricky never had a go at Crawford, the thing is moot Crawford is an exceptionally good fighter Scott never fought anyone near his class IMO, now don't go off on one thinking I'm belittling Scott I'm not but this is fact mate Crawford is excellent

 

Don't you mean Miguel slammed the head on Scott when his corner shouted now!!! Scott was punching holes in him beforehand and a trial it's ref bottled it and got fight stopped

 

Couldn't agree more that Crawford is excellent Billy, but Ricky still never tried forcing it at any stage. Properly would have still lost but in last few rounds especially he needed to put it on Crawford and get hit to land shots, but was staying on outside. Yes I know Crawfords timing speed is great, but he never tried forcing it. If he did and lost I woold have been first to congratulate him for going for it.

U gussed it I has Scott winning, by only a round, my dad had Polo by a round. It was a pickem fight but Ryan is right Scott was still going forward forcing fight. It was loud were I was mainly as me and my mate were singing Scott Harrison Simply The Best Better than All The Rest, if it wasn't for fact me and my mate weighed 40 stone between us I think 90% of Scott's other fans in there would have tried doing us in lol

 

indeed Scott was extremely tough but his antics outside boxing we're starting to have an affect in the last quarter of his fights,I'd say at least his last 3 fights watch them you'll see what I mean
