If GGG moves back to Kazhakistan, he will be richer.

This under the assumption it does some ridiculous number like 3+ million buys. Otherwise like alexthegreatmc mentioned, he's taking a pay cut to give the other guy way more than he's ever made.

But there would definitely be more revenue put into the fight than the usual fights. A lot more big companies would pay for advertising amongst other things. PPV and ticket sales are not the only income with a fight this big. It's a big business opportunity for many. Also, more countries might get away with charging PPV for this one. For example, Mayweather usually fights on BoxNation in the UK which is subscription based, but if it were to be a sky PPV, it will get plenty of buyers. There is plenty of ways to bring more money into this fight that go beyond just tickets and PPV.

But i understand that Floyd would never do it for less money than he usually gets due to his opponent getting more than they usually get. That's why if there is any serious negotiations going on, they would need to offer Floyd a huge guaranteed sum of money that doesn't allow for a pay cut by making sure the money coming in is enough for both fighters purses so everyone is happy, this is the whole point of negotiating. I am sure there is a way for them to work it out.

I don't think it will ever happen anyway.

Bro your math is a mess. first off mayweather's guranteed was 40 million. everything he got after that was some ppv money. so he ended up with 75 million like u said but that was not that gurantee. so this 85-90 million you talking about is wrong! could he make that much?? yes! but his gurantee would be like it was 5 years ago. 50 million, Pac will probably make like 30, which is way higher then anything hes ever made. then after some ppv he could make 50-60 mil maybe.

SO say mayweather gets gurantee 50 mil, Pac 30, then thats 80 million. fight is guranteed to break records. easily 2.5, 3 mil buys. lets just say 2.5 and im sure they'll make the ppv $80. so 2.5 buys at $80 is $200 million!!! thats more then enough for everybody! your 3.7-4 mil is laughable, How TF did u come up with that :rofl:rofl:rofl

And not only that...but it was the best time to get at Floyd. Prior to his time in jail, after his legal team got the Clark County court the postpone his jail sentence, it was at a time Floyd was most vulnerable. Tons of legal issues, dating issues with Ms. Jackson, beef with 50 was just starting and remember how he looked in the fight prior to going to jail when he got the last minute deal with Cotto. That was Team Pacquiao's best shot...Floyd actually CALLED MANNY and made an offer of $40 Million. And here is what was said "50/50" - "Waiting on new Arena" - Cut will not be healed in time". Team Pacquiao never wanted the fight...Then or now. Hence the reason they're lying about being in negotiations with Floyd now.

Somehow I don't think lying through their teeth is gonna help Pac's PPV numbers. Hell I think even casual fans could care less about what is said until a press conference actually announcing the fight is done.
