Definitely. I think I had him winning 4-2 after six.

I'm guessing you're one of those guys who claim that the facial damage sustained by Vitali saved Lewis as well?

Lucas got that eye socket beaten in.

Lucas had a small chance of winning the fight IF his team was competent and had an eye swell instead of using their thumbs.

Fact is: Garcia won, he would have won either way even if Danny Garcia didn't punch that eye socket in.

Garcia is a relatively slow starter, he was turning it on in the middle rounds.

The AP and audience obviously followed Showtime commentating excitement for Herrera in their scoring. There is no other explanation, everything about that fight said it was close, from the commentating saying it was close throughout the fight, the loser himself saying it was close, official scoring, and even down to the punch stats. Yet, the AP had it for Herrera in a one sided fashion, as did the audience, how often does that happen?? Never, only the combining of the fact that it was close fight with one sided commentating for Herrera do you realize how that conflicting situation could come to be.

I don't see why you Matthysse fans are so butthurt about Garcia winning.

All you guys can bring up is HERRERA who fought a close fight with Garcia.

It's been 361 days since Garcia won, still haven't gotten over it huh?

They are two completely different fights.

Very few people claim Matthysse deserved the nod given how things panned out. What most people correctly assert is that Matthysse got the better of Garcia before his face got swollen. If they fought a rematch it very well could go the same if Garcia could target all the scar tissue. OR, it might not, and if not Garcia would probably lose as he was losing the 1st half.

Why are you so emotional about it? :think

They are two different fights, that's why I'm so confused as to why so many Matthysse-fanatics like to bring up the Herrera fight as if it means anything to their cause. Makes no sense

Anyways, I'm quite sure you had it 3-2 Garcia in the first 5 rounds, 3-3 after the 6th.

How could you say he was losing in the 1st half?

Herrera's post fight in ring comments with absolutely no prompt was simply asked what he felt about the fight, answer, "I thought it was a close fight". Conclusion, Herrera himself does not agree.

I did have it tied up at the midway point and yet the 5th was extremely close and damn near stolen by Matthysse so if anything it could have been 58-56 in his favor whereas none of the rounds I actually gave him were close enough to shift Garcia's way.

Plus, all the momentum belonged to Matthysse before the swelling, from the end of the 5th into the 6th.

It's a bit silly a statement, just because Molina dropped him - and could look especially silly if Molina destroys Soto this weekend (as I fear he might, and I've always liked Soto)

Matthysse has a big contribution in softening Danny. Danny Garcia got physically and mentally cracked by Lucas. :yep :yep:bbb:smoke:good

watch the fight again, gimp !:deal

Molina is a top puncher, no doubt. When 2 punchers go toe to toe into a fight there are big chances to see a KD or a T/KO in that fight.
