WBO snubs Saunders in favor of Andrade. Honestly, I think they made the right choice.

So... Andrade moving up to 160 , to fight for MW title. Honestly I favor him to beat Korobov, if Korobov gasses its going to be target practice for the quick handed Andrade after round 6 or so.

I had been hearing for a long time that Andrade had a hard time making 154, and was wanting to move up for the right opportunity. 160 should be a lot better for him, much more opportunity on his side of the Haymon divide at 160 than there was at 154.

This should be a good fight, looking forward to it.

Can't understand why they opted for him over Saunders. Is he still with Al Haymon?

I'm picking Andrade to beat Korobov around silly when Korobov gasses/takes time off, although when Korobov fights in his spurts, I do expect him to win a few solid rounds.

can boo boo make it 2 for 2 with the wbo mw belt.im going with andrade to win this korobov is a four round fighter.both guys are unproven so who cares.beter andrade than a britard who when they win they take the belts hostage over to the uk.

No he is co-promoted by Banner Promotions, and Star Boxing. Similar setup as Chris Algieri actually. He is an HBO fighter, and as such will be able to get much better fights at 160 than 154. We will finally be able to see how good he really is. ArtieP and JoeD try to find not avoid big, tough fights for their guys.

As for people saying Saunders should have gotten the chance, is there anyone who really thinks Saunders is better than Andrade? Let Saunders fight an eliminator, then face Andrade.

Andrade will be a better 160 than 154 tbh, he is 6'1" after all. Killing himself in camp less over weight should be good for him.

    Cheers for the info.

I don't think Saunders is better than Andrade, it's just that he's the number 2 ranked contender behind Korobov whereas Andrade is a LMW.

All politics aside (which is nearly impossible to ignore in the WBO Middleweight title fiasco, admittedly), I do like Andrade vs Korobov. It's a quality fight.

Andrade should take this in semi difficulty. What happened to the Quillin bout?

I'm surprised that he would move up he just got the belt not even a year ago at 154. He's probably only had one defense of his belt.
