I'm going with Maidana by stoppage. Too many indicators that Floyd's dominance is coming to an end. Call it a hunch. Marcos learned a lot in the first fight and he's coming in lighter and more fit this time around and I think he'll be more judicious with what he throws in this fight and will fight smarter. I think May is going to get caught with something big and Maidana will follow up and that'll be it.
You know what, man, that is feasible. I think Floyd is worn out--I've been saying this for awhile. I believe he has been overtraining and his central nervous system is exhausted. He is not 21 anymore and you can't train like a mad man and expect to get away with it when you're pushing 40. I think he's going to look flat again only this time Maidana will have better success when Floyd backs up against the ropes.
I think the physicality of his training has taken its toll, but I think more than that his mental state may be a tad eschew at this present time. And if he's not 100% mentally focused, I think that will be his biggest problem in this fight.
With Marcos coming in leaner, does anyone think that this may lessen his punch resistance? Presumably, it'll help with his stamina, but I'm just wondering if he'll be able to take as good a shot?
Even if Maidana catches and hurts Floyd in this fight, he won't be able to finish the job due to his poor accuracy and finishing ability
But I think he's been working on those things. I honestly believe he is a much improved fighter and he's continuing to ascend.
If floyd loses we`ll get the rematch in May and if he loses then which would be likely i think he retires or fights a tomato can in his last fight. If he wins i think its on to manny in may and a final fight in sept which either be a rematch with manny or a tomato can.
Im not going that far. But i do feel age, distractions and lack of punch ouput will be his end this fight. Maidana SD
