You think Cheef Teef is gonna go for it in the post fight interview?

Agreed. It's live boxing, though, so I'll always tune in. :conf

Plus, I kinda get what it is and what it's meant to be (a vehicle for Golden Boy showcases - basically the spiritual successor to their "Fight Night Club" series on UStream from a few years back, except with more big names and not just green prospects) so I'm never all that disappointed even with the weaker cards. :conf

What I don't get is why don't refs opt for an 8 count over automatically stopping a fight like this. Sure Kayode was getting hit, but how did the ref determine he wasn't fit to continue? He looked fine to continue to me, and I'm sure to most people too.

At least we had KOs. I'd rather have KOs than decision snoozers.

 even Lopez vs. Cobos was a really ugly and dull affair. Really hope he ain't fighting Khan next, seems shot to me.

I guess us guys on forums like this are just addicts, who watch any and all Boxing.

Oh god, that would be nasty. Some poor SOB in the eleventh row would lose an eye to a flying shard of glass.

Yeah, and Cuellar over Lopez was a pretty brutal one for the real sadist KO lover.

Malignaggi is now being interviewed by the knucklehead that co-hosts the FS1 knock-off version of SportsCenter (these guys always pretend to know a little about boxing and you can so tell how much they resent having to call it and find it boring, all they want to do is get onto the mainstream team sports they actually do care about)

Paulie is being put on the spot with questions about whether Ortiz is "the guy to bring excitement back to HW". :-(

Top Rank had that deal with, I believe, Versus where they just showed one-sided bouts. That's basically what this is, but hey, it's not that big of a deal. Always low expectations coming in. You don't go into a McDonalds expecting a gourmet meal. As the saying goes, it is what it is.
