his public profile made it believable at the time because of the Givens interview and conduct outside the ring. No one would have believed the girl had Mike stayed on the right track. Did he do it, I think he was forceful as a rule and had a attitude of entitlement and just thought the girl would be complacent, he did not need to **** her he had plenty of woman just fell into the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong public opinion = trap
Here's what I think probably happened: She went to his hotel room. I would venture to guess that in the thousand previous times a woman went to his room he ended up having consensual *** with her, which means the moment she stepped in his room he assumed she was going to have *** with him. He made his "move," she said no, but he probably thought she was just showing resistance for imagery, again I think he assumed she was going to have *** with him from the moment she stepped in his room. He continued and she continued to say no. I think Tyson probably had no "intent to ****" and probably never believed he was committing a ****. However, so long as she did not give consent, and so long as she was unable to physically prevent penetration, technically it's ****. It can be a very fine line, and I think without having a video tape of the encounter there is no way to know. It's simply his word against hers...
He was only guilty of not walking that little slag to the door & promising that he'd keep in touch, ect ect, instead, once he'd split her ass open & flushed 50 million kids into her, he just kicked her off the bed & shouted to his mate who was waiting outside, send the next one in! ...Women scorned & all that! Ask any woman her opinion of what happened & 100% will say he's innocent of **** but guilty abusing her feelings, just walk her to the door & make her feel that she's special, blar blar blar, the whole world knows what happened, but don't expect justice in any court of law, now that's a threatre of Dickensian nightmares with just 3 players, judge/defence/prosecution + the stage prop...which is YOU! As my wife said, he was up for grabs, sooner or later he was gonna get nailed for the big $$$$$.
The question should not be innocent or guilty, but guilty or not guilty. I don't know if he's innocent, but I'm not sure I could find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and hence I tend to think he's not guilty based on all of what I know. In addition, based on my review of the appeals decisions, I'm not convinced his trial was fair.
The man was an icon, why on earth would the powers that be want to screw him over?? If anything it would be the opposite.
Tyson lost the titles and in nearly 2 years....was no where near getting a title shot. He was getting frustrated Tyson wanted to leave Don King. King knew Tysons weaknesses were always women. Tyson was Kings meal ticket, why hire a tax attorney to defend Tyson? why not spend money and actually get someone decent? King could have got the best, instead he got someone who wasnt very good. Simple, King wanted to orchestrate a Muhammad Ali like comeback. As soon as Tyson was about to be released.....who was it that secured a 7 fight deal worth $160m. Don King Why did Tyson come out of prison, broke? Where did all of his money go while in prison? Who teamed up with Robin Givens and her mother, to get rid of Kevin Rooney and Bill Cayton? Once Bill Cayton, and Kevin Rooney were got rid of, who schemed to get rid of Robin Givens too? Don King. Don King had an iron curtain built around Tyson, only people approved by King were allowed to call or write to Tyson or visit him
Who gained the most from Tyson going into prison? King. How else would King have got $160m for Tyson (most of which went into his own pocket)
